I had the pleasure of torturing him all the way in the car - about seven hours of driving - that today was his big day. It was fun!

Then we got back to Hollywood - good old Maryland and mom and I have been having a ball with this age thing.

Now that was easy..

I really have you all fooled - my birth-year is actually 1971 and I am turning 30 today ;D

Anyway, we did make it to MD after 4 days of driving. Up until last Friday, all I had seen of this great Country was CA and AZ so it was a special treat for me to see so many States. All the way through Tennesse, I was trying to smell the coffee that Mark C talked about once, maybe I went through the wrong parts of TN. I also thought about Roxy while I was in Amarillo - now that sounded bad :D, It was more along the lines of knowing that she lives in TX somewhere. Did not get to go to Boston and see Jonny but now we are on the same side of the US so it may happen soon ;D.

All of you, have a really good week and I'll be back here as soon as I get myself situated.

It's a shame you're only 30....way too young for the likes of me.... ;) If you were in Amarillo, you were damn close....wish I had known.

For me, the 30th was the worst. Growing up in the Vietnam War era, with the mantra, in the US, “never trust anyone over 30”, redolent in my mind……. it hurt to turn 30! In order to assuage my trepidations, I decided to drink for a living. (similar to L’l Abner, testing mattresses) (Yes, you might not know the reference, but…..if I don’t hear a “ping” from Charlie on this, I will assume that: It was all a dream).

When I consider that my parents were 38 when they had me, and 42 when they had my brother, the “age thing” takes on a different light.
