I must choose my words carefully. Message Boards are forever.

A beautiful, young person, that I know, and their friend, were attacked today and beaten unrecognizable. The “Dorothy Stratton” analogy, would not be inappropriate, unless other facts come to light.

I hope that I can dissipate my rage, by sharing with you, and leaning on your shoulders. I really need to stay in control right now. I was jumped, beaten and robbed in 1986, after winning at a small casino, late at night l. I forgave them. But this...this is tweaking me.

This person and their friend will never read this Board, so I’m not asking for anyone to reply, but, I have seen miracles happen here, and I hope we can pull off another one.

There are a lot of sick, deranged and mentally twisted people out there using violence as a substitute for lack of a brain.

To bad there were no Clusterheads close by when it happened - because any one of us would have intervened.

David-I don't think I have words- I'm still stunned that one human would do something like this to another. I hope she heals quickly and that there is more than a pound of flesh extracted from this animal.

Sorry to read that your friends became the innocent victims of a senseless attack.  I'm sure your friends would have willing given what the attackers wanted to avoid being beaten.  Hopefully the police will be able to track these mutants down and put them away.  Maybe they will resist and allow the officers to use deadly force to apprehend.  I will be remembering your friends in my prayers, along with the detectives responsible for being these criminals to justice.

Sorry also to read that you endured the same treatment back in '86.

So sorry to hear about your friends.  I will be praying for them over the next couple of months because I am sure they will have a long time of healing.  May God give them strength, peace, and comfort during this trial.

I'm so sorry!!  There are just some horrible, horrible, people in this world....but those people will get theirs in the end. I know I don't have any words to sooth your pain, but know that your friends are in my prayers!  You are in my prayers as well....just continue to be strong for them..they will need you!

Prayers are being said here. It is so hard to belive that there are people so mean in this world.
Its hard to forgive when a loved one is hurt in such away. My daughter was beaten, I have tried to forgive the man that did it but have not been able to let go of that hate I have for him.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friends.  When I hear something like this it reminds me of my Mother saying, "Sis, it's a mean old world out there sometimes".
People who do such things usually pay in the end.  Let's hope they pay very soon.

David, so sorry to hear about your friends.  I know how you feel.  A friend of mine was beaten almost to death by Ted Bundy.  She was one of the few who survived.  The senselessness of these types of acts tends to first shock us then anger us.

My thoughts and wishes are with you and your friends.  Sending strength to you and to them.

Something similar happened to my best friend, but in her case it was her ex-boyfriend.  She pressed charges thank God, and he got his own.  Served 6 years of a 12 year sentence and while incarcerated....had a little of his own medicine.  He had to be put in isolation for his own safety!

I hope that it wasn't someone she knew.  I think it's harder on the pysche when we know our assailant.

Glad you have calmed down.  I had the same thoughts, but we don't have the same laws here as you do in the states.  My thoughts were more along the lines of hiring a hit man!  LOL...nice headline that would have made:

High School Teacher hires Hit Man for Revenge!

Glad I didn't go that way! And that you didn't let your rage get the better of you.

I used to be a Police Officer in one of the few genuinely dangerous places in London. I saw some utterly terrible things, and some truly evil people. It is hard to realise that sooner or later, they really do get what they deserve. Trouble is sometimes it takes too long.

Yes, there are mean people out there, willing to attack you for what you own, or what you are - and sometimes for the failure of their own illusions.

Yes, I do hope they are caught - or their mean lives catch up with them.

And yes, by all means put the safety back on your actual door.

But not on the door to your feelings. Don't let them make yet one more victim!

I have not been able to stop thinking of you since I read your message this morning.
Your friends and also you are rooted deeply in my 'white-light vibe station'. I believe in the power of good thought and the strength of good people linking their good energy to unselfishly help another more than anything else in this world. Geez, my raised in California is really showing now isn't it!
You be strong for yourself and also for your friends. I think you will find tremendous power and comfort in being able to be the rock for these people that you love through this dark time.
I've never met you nor is it likely that ever I will but I am here for you as are all of the other people here.

My thoughts are with you and your friend. There are no good sides to this stuff so it's time to go back to not forgiving those who beat you as well. I don't think I could.

Don't have them killed right away. Raped and killed in prison comes to mind as a suitable outcome.

Stay mad but take it out on us for now.

I'm so sorry for what some idiot fool done to your friends David.  I hope that they are caught and strung up by their nads, and red hot coals put in their eye sockets.....ect.......ect.  For someone to be that mean, they would have to be a mental case!

That sucks big time. I can't believe there are animals out there who would beat an innocent person into a coma for no fucking reason at all. Or even if they think they have a reason. I mean if some drug crazed m*th*rf**k*r wants my car, or money, or whatever... all they have to do is ask.

I'm not into prayers... but I am sending vibes and fuzzys. Let us know how your friends are doing.

A friend at work told me that his son was attacked by someone with a fucking hammer. It took several months before the guy recovered enough to even recognize his family. I can't imagine what kind of monster would do that to another person. :'(

We will be praying for both your friends and for you.  This has rubbed a raw nerve in you. Even though it is in the past the memories and teh pain are still in your mind.  Perhaps one reason you had to go through it is so that you can empathize with others who go through such abuse and you can reach out to them with help such as this.

Please share our care with them when the time is right.

This Board is not only a family, it is in the true sense, a place of worship. I hope none of you are ever in a position to ask for Vibes/Prayers from this Board, but if you are, you will be amazed at the power that resides here. I am overwhelmed.

To everyone who contacted me, please be assured that I’m under control. Not only is the safety on, I’m not wearing my ankle holster or the inside-the-waistband anymore (knives are a different story, watch out motherfuucker, I was a fencing champion and an outdoor survivalism instructor, I like BIG knives!).

Uh…it might not seem like it but, after I posted and shared with all of you, a great load was lifted from my shoulders, and I mellowed out. My friend, refuses contact with anyone but her mother (so we are lacking information), and is showing textbook signs of sexual assault on top of the beating. I felt powerless and vengeful until I turned to you.

If God, instead of man, were to design a place of worship, it would look like this Board.
