Anyway, does this doctor know anything about clusters?
Maybe you could arrange to be called when someone cancels? Kind of a medical stand by. That will sometimes work. Is this doc a neuro?

In the meantime, there are many home remedies that can help... ice, hot black coffee, air conditioning, cold or hot showers. Check out the imitrex tip on the left, that might help you to make your imitrex last. Check out the OUCH site, there is a nice big list of non-med treatments.

Call the Doc back and ask him/her if they know that CH is also called "Suicide headaches"....Scare the shit out of them, you'll get a quick appointment!!!
