For a Brit version of preppie, imagine a slightly serious young man, wearing a button down shirt, with probably a jumper or knit tank over it, here he would wear loafers, narrow legged trousers or chinos and would probably have quite trendy specs. He would have serious conversations about the novel he has read or art film he has seen It's really an American thang, so hard to translate into British W the B Folks, help out here and give us a character from a very well known film who was a male preppie! |
