Not that it matters...cause this board (if it's the cause) is definitely worth it. But the day I signed on, I began to get inundated with spam e-mails. I made the mistake of using my work e-mail. (Still didn;t have a yahoo account).

I went from 0 spam e-mails to 15 to 20 per day.
Like I had said...this board is still worth it.

I have had my e-mail public on this board for a year and no spam. Anywhere you post your e-mail so it can be seen is an open invitation to the spam bots. If you do use your e-mail in post always use "at" instead on @ it will keep the bots from copying it for now. I'm sure soon they will figure that out and we will have to do something else. If you have a email me link on your web site use java script protection.

Good grief....I just got an email I am the next John Holmes....and one about a buldge grower and something about brunetts......rite along with emails on makeing a fortune working for myself ....huh.....was that a hint maybe ?? I definitely know that I have received spam as a result of registering on CH.com as I have a completely different email address I use here. It is the only Spam I ever get - hate the pink flobby excuse for meat stuff.

But .. I think it is worth it

I have had my email posted on this site and on the old site and I never, I mean NEVER got any spam. Dennis and I have accounts through the same ISP, and he gets like 30 spam emails a day. And yes, he got the farm animals and girls one too. Ironically, he doesn't even have his home email posted on here - he has a yahoo address posted because he was trying to cut down on the amount of spam he got. I kinda feel left out. Like I'm not good enough to get your spam. Like not even the sunshine carpet cleaners would try to abduct me. Like no one likes me at all....

The only reason I got my last message out was because the High Hostess had signed out and left her 'puter unattended. I have since escaped to relative safety. Damn, those 50 stripes hurt!

Wendy, anyone who wears snakes in her hair knows exactly what a High Hostess is. One who uses Medusa as her avatar surely knows that once paralyzed and turned to stone, a mere male is at your mercy. I only hope that he was in a sufficiently interested state so that you could work your nefarious purposes.
