If I can get a alternate source of oxygen, say through my husbands fire department, can I get the mask, etc. without a prescription or approval from my insurance company?
I'm going to bed now, I'll check back in the morning. I hope everyone has a pain free night and sweet dreams.

You can buy the non-rebreather masks online at:

If you need a medical regulator, those are usually available on ebay.
