Title: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by don on May 4th, 2003, 10:16am A young girl on a cruise with her family wanted to go home to her boyfriend. She made terrorist threats against Americans in order to be taken off and get home. She was arrested and detained by the US Coast Guard. She is being held without bail at a federal detention center. Mom's response "I wouldn't bail out the little brat even if bail was granted" WAY TO GO MOM!!! |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by jonny on May 4th, 2003, 10:29am That chicks lucky, my Mom would bail me out just to kick my ass. Mom is a crack shot with a section of hot wheel track, the purple connector on the end should be considered lethal ;D ...............................jonny |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by Roxy on May 4th, 2003, 10:48am I sure wouldn't bail one of my kids out. If they ever did get out on their own, then I'd kick their ass all over again....in a bad enough way, that they would probably go running back for the comfort of jail. |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by kim on May 4th, 2003, 3:00pm My dad had this wooden "PADDLE" left over from Purdue University (Indiana)............ Any time we mouthed off he threatened to "GET THE PADDLE".......my butt was reddened on numerous occasions........-and i can't IMAGINE doing something remotely like that rotten bitch/bratt on that ship. I hope the kid is humiliated and taken down a few notches. She sorely needs it. Mean ole MOM. ;) |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by SommelierCH on May 4th, 2003, 5:19pm My Dad would make me go outside and get my own “switch” (a thin, willowy branch off a tree) to whip my bare a$$ and legs. It sounds so barbaric, now days, but, by god I deserved each fuching stroke. As Clusterheads, we know that pain can be a great lifestyle modifier. David J. |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by cathy on May 6th, 2003, 1:26pm Jonny and Nancy if you think that's bad, I remember another time when I had a huge bowls of plums...I just knew the kids would want some, :-/ so I got a can of spaghetti and cleaned off the tomato sauce, then cut it into tiny bits so that they looked like maggots, then I cut a couple of plums in half and layed the spaghetti bits strategically on the plums, waited for the kids to come in, ::) sure enough they did, I offered them a plum and said "oh don't worry about the maggots, you get them in really ripe plums....." of course I had to show them it was okay to eat plum maggot and all, :D but they were green by the time I'd eaten it and im not sure why, but they didn't want any plums after all!!! ??? Cathy... ;D |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by cathy on May 6th, 2003, 1:58pm You know steve I have a really sick, warped sense of humour, it gets me into a lot of trouble...lol I thought about suitable punishments one night and thought this.... The Kids had a fish tank with pretty goldfishes in ::).....now if you get a big carrot and cut thinley out of the carrot, goldfish shapes, when these goldfish shaped carrots are hanging by fishing line in the fish tank, you'd be absolutely amazed at how much they look like the real thing....hmmmmm well I thought about doing this and saying to kids " right you little shits...everytime your naught Im gonna eat one of your goldfish!!!! " I hasten to add I have not done it yet.. ;D BadCat |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by stevek on May 6th, 2003, 2:29pm Cathy – a little too much time on your hands? I love your ideas but they’re too time consuming to execute. Do you have some simple ones? stevek |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by cathy on May 6th, 2003, 2:37pm No not off hand, I'll tell you a funny story though, having twins is time consuming and extremely tiring, when they were really little I was on autopilot hadn't slept more than 4 hours a night for months, so it was no surprise to get up one morning and find 6 empty milk bottles in each cot, it was okay though I had a good laugh when I found the twins on the doorstep... ;D :o Luckily the milkman was late... Cathy ;) |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by stevek on May 6th, 2003, 3:30pm Twins would kill me. My psychotic 3 year old is more than I can handle. If I didn’t have teenagers to help (yes the same marriage, and no I don’t know what the hell I was thinking) psycho kid would have sent me to the loony house. My first two were so easy. A few of psycho's tricks Age 1 – started a fire in the back yard (I left the matches out) Age 2 – when I told him to give me the scissors he had just picked up, he threw them at me and they stuck in the wall next to my head. Age 3 – He climbed the ladder to the roof, then jumped off onto the trampoline, then rebounded into the wall. Only 4 stitches. Age 3 – He jumped off the chairlift (skiing) because he saw his Mom ( I got yelled at by the ski patrol for not keeping him safe.) He was ticked last night when I wouldn’t let him hang on the garage door as I opened it. Stevek |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by CathiP on May 6th, 2003, 3:30pm Steve K- Life around our house has always been a joke- glad to hear yours is too!! You CAn try this one-my babies are now 26 & 28- they never fail to tell new visitors to our home about the time mom went blind. My son has always been a practical joker....one April Fool's day, he was in the den when I came down for coffee- I poured my cup, then I shouted out "My EYES! MY EYES! My son came running in to see what was wrong, and I was sitting on the floor, eyes covered. He asked what was wrong, I told him "I can't see! I can't see!" at which point he ran to me, then to the phone to call my husband- there was a lot of commotion. About this time, my daughter came downstairs and asked what was going on- Todd said "MOM can't see, Mom can't see..... I'm calling Dad".....my daughter then walked over to me, very calmly, and said "open your eyes"- so I did.....that was at LEAST 15 yrs ago. Todd may forgive me one day soon....... Try it, Steve, just be prepared- my kids are STILL getting even!! ;D ;D ;D Cathi |

Title: Re: WAY TO GO MOM........ Post by stevek on May 6th, 2003, 3:47pm I felt bad after the “little psycho” post. He is also very charming for a 3 yo. “Mommy you are so beautiful today”, “please don’t leave I’m going to miss you so much” (that one to his brother!). I just worry that his last words will be “hey y’all, watch this”. Cathi, that is a good one. Kids always find a way to payback. stevek |
