I know somebody's got a much better excuse than I, Bob......sometimes, I'm just not a sleeper- my husband needs 8 hrs., and people generally don't take to kindly to my 12-3 am phone calls.....I'm going to sleep- when are you going to Vegas?

Title: Deep thoughts....by Georgia
Post by Georgia on May 3rd, 2003, 3:40am
First of all....it's almost 4am.

The god's honest truth: I am awake because I am not sleepy, and since I am awake, I figured that I would finish off some work on the computer that I had to get done, and finish watching King Kong and then of course, one has to stay up for Tales from the Crypt, and then there is the cow that is in labor....her contractions are only two minutes apart now...I started counting at 5 minutes apart...and I am really contemplating getting my flashlight and walking over to the field and being there for her when she gives birth which should be in the next few hours cuz not even a cow should be alone, ya know...and umm, do cows have umbilical cords that need to be cut? seriously? and every baby cow needs a faerie godmother......and then one has to seriously think about whether or not cows actually have contractions like women do..but it sure sounds like it from here...and yippee, another episode of tales is on...so maybe I should just stay in the house and watch it instead of going to cow lamazze, but really...where is the humanity in that?...but you see, the cow pasture that is by our house has like 8' high chain link fencing with razor wire at the top which really makes me wonder what they are trying to keep out...and knowing what I know about where I live, the logical conclusion is BigFoot, aka Wildman...which makes me really want to go wandering around...for real...what great fun that would be...a midnight rendezvous with Wildman...ow chi momma...did I mention that Christopher Reeves is in this episode...see he owns a squid only restaurant, but he is about to get evicted, but I think maybe he killed his landlord and served him up as steak and eggs, yet another reason why people should only eat cold pizza and blueberries for breakfast...ohh and did I mention that I just caught this beetle thingie and fed it to my pet anole, Lizzard McGuire...well the lizard wasn't always a pet, see they live wild around these parts and my kitty Blue caught this one the other day and bit its tail off, but I stopped her before she really hurt the poor little thing, and now I am keeping it in a little terrarium just until its tail grows back and it is big and strong...he is so cute, he can change colors and everything...Blue is grounded, don't worry...oh wait, Superman didn't kill the landlord, his helper (played by Judd Nielson or Nelson or whatever, you know, the guy from breakfast club) did and he is jusy hacking off a steak at a time and all the people in the town are eating it up...speaking of which, I just had the best little snack of chick peas and green olives...mmmm...one of my favorites...which reminds me, poor little denny went to bed with a tummy ache...hope your tummy feels better, pooh....ohh maybe I'll play some spider solitaire too, I am such a junkie for that game..oh no, now they are cooking Judd while he is still alive...I heard some report on the radio the other day that said there was a study done on cannibalism and when they asked the cannibals to rate what meat tasted most like human flesh, they said "pork"...Charlie Manson would just love that...And to think, you probably thought I just couldn't sleep. See, this proves my point exactly...everyone has been brain washed into thinking that you NEED sleep...I say pish posh...look at all that you are missing out on by sleeping...I say, fight the power my bretheren..breatheren...breathren, who ever the hell you are...fight it!! Stay awake with me and I will show a world you have n'er experienced. Oh and I almost forgot to tell you that Denny brought home this big ole wooden door and I think we should put it up in the backyard...just a random door in the middle of the lawn and then people will come from all over to step through our "door of perception" and then we can charge admission and be rich....rich beyond our wildest dreams...and then I can finally get those pygmy goats that I have always wanted...and a barn, with chickens, oh and what the hell...let's just go crazy here and throw in a horse too. Oh ya, and if I get really brave, I might just pop in one of my Beavis and Butthead DVD's that the sweetest man in the whole widest world bought me. Now that alone is reason enough to stay awake. Oh and I know you must be dying from the suspense, so I'll just let you know that the cow is down to one minute apart. She's so close!!! Better get my boots on.

Aren't ya glad ya asked Bob?

Peace, love, and pygmy goats,
Georgia

Well, if you must know Bob, I was up because:

I was afraid to go to sleep
I was talking to someone via IM
           AND.........

I wanted to BE THERE for Georgia to give her a hand with the birthing of her cow.   So there!
