Let me tell yall something.....the mulester has been doing his thing here for as long as I can tell. He is one of the few names from the 90's still posting. I am working on a list ( another project) to try and catalog some of the oldtimes who were regulars. Maybe the whereabouts of some of these folks can be discovered. Where did they all go! DennisO'C Cranpain Todd Paul irene Lee M Robert G. Frie August Well, thats enough for now. From what I can tell it's good riddiance to some of them anyway! Copying and Pasting, Mark |

Title: Re: This MB is starting to breath again... Post by Elaine on May 1st, 2003, 8:34pm I hate to disagree with you Mark but if you ask me I think its a great lost that those people are no longer with us! A lot of the people who posted in 98 and 99 they are still around they just do their supporting and venting though email. What we should be asking is why they left? The sad part about it if they all showed up and told us why they left insead of us maybe cleaning up our act and welcoming them back, I am almost willing to bet you would beat them up for their reason! Its our lost I am afraid! The board is breathing better Marc! I think post are better support is better and venting is better. I hope to see understanding getting better also for both the new members of the family as well as the old! |

Title: Re: This MB is starting to breath again... Post by Charlie on May 2nd, 2003, 12:38am Yeah I really miss Tony from Hawaii too. He was good for half a dozen really schitty threads or made them into such. You'll find that sneak Den and his delightfully bizarre friend lurking around though :o (He really hates these smilies too) :D Mean old Charlie |

Title: Re: This MB is starting to breath again... Post by Mark C on May 2nd, 2003, 10:30am Elaine, I think you may have mis-understood the complete meaning behind my post. After re-reading it I can see how too! I certainly did not mean anyone on my short list. There are a few who are gone that didn't make it then and wouldn't now. Drug pushers and the like. So after going through thousands of posts I stand behind my original statement, good riddance, but to a very few. I am wondering where all the many great posters from the past went, and why. It appears some of you are still here under a new alias ;D If I had time I may start an e-mail campaign to reach out to some of the long gone old-timers. Maybe one of them found a cure and that's why they ain't back ! Bleary eyed Mark |

Title: Re: This MB is starting to breath again... Post by Mark C on May 2nd, 2003, 10:46am Never sleep, 20 hour days are the norm. Look when I post, in all of the 24 hours! I do spend an extra ordinary amount time in front of a screen. Work is all computerized, I have 6 PC's a seven printers in one office to work / play with and of course the big bad Mainframe (http://www.deathstar-mainframe.com/) at home. ;D All this archive digging is fascinating....so much has changed....and so much has not. It's a ClusteropolisTM time capsule! I think I will get some sleep this Monday! Surfing Specialist, Second Class, Mark C. |

Title: Re: This MB is starting to breath again... Post by Miklos on May 2nd, 2003, 11:05am I love "techie talk." I have three PCs (two are servers), one AS/400 and twelve printers (three thermal, three impact and six lasers ranging in speed from 16 ipm to 110 ipm). Relevance to topic = None. I just enjoy knowing other weird people who have lots of toys like myself are out there. |

Hell, I'm going to hate myself, but here goes. The thermal printers are for printing bar code labels. I am going to print enough bar code labels to paper you from head to toe. Then, we'll send you off to WalMart to see if anything scans. |
