Title: Wish me luck!
Post by els on May 1st, 2003, 7:13am
I haven't been doing a whole lot since this cycle started.  Just work and home and my doctor's.  But I'm leaving this afternoon to visit my daughter at college in New Hampshire.  I live in upstate New York.  Her dance show is tonight and tomorrow night.  So I'm staying over with her and her 4 roommates.
This is partly why I pushed my doctor so hard to give my the Verapamil.  I didn't want to go up there and scare her friends to death.  Actually the timing of this cycle couldn't suck more.  Between now and the end of June I have her dance show, then in two weeks her graduation.  Then two really busy weeks at the restaurant I work at.  Then a weeks vacation on Block Island, then my friend is visiting from South Carolina, then my son graduates from high school.
So the Verapamil seems to be working even at only 360mg a day.  My doc is being careful cause my BP is normally about 100 over 60.  But so far so good, only one bad hit last night and alot less shadows so far today.
So things are looking pretty good, and I get to go see my tall, beautiful, talented, intellegent, wonderful girl.  Sorry! ;D   I'm just so damn proud of her.
PFDAN for everyone, cause I'm feeling so good it's got to be catching.                               els.

Best wishes for a pain free trip. Perhaps you will luck out and discover that clusters are illegal in New Hampshire. If not, they should be.

Miklos,
Maybe you are right.  It might have something to do with their state slogan, "Live free or die."  I always liked that one.

Hey Guys,
Greetings from Colby-Sawyer College!  I am having a great time.  I went to the dance show last night and video taped it for the girls.  They all watched it afterwards and critiqued their perfomances, but the general consensus was that they were all HOT!.   I thought they were all great, but of Meg was the best.  Tonight my husband is coming up with Meghan's boyfriend to see the second perfomance.  It's kinda sad cause this is their last show together.  All the seniors are in the last dance togrther, which is a medley of songs from dance movies.  They finish to "I Had the Time of My Life"  I know they are all going to be in tears tonight.
I am actually feeling pretty good.  I think the Verapamil is helping.  I had a kinda long low level pain all the way up in the car.  I don't think driving over the mountain helped.  but now that I'm up here which is pretty high in elavation I feel OK.  I had one level 7 or 8 last night before I went to bed at 1 am but nothing else since.  Maybe the lower pressure at higher altitudes helps.  It would be something to find out.
I hope everyone else is feeling fine. Take care and I'll talk to you when I get home.                      els.
