I have been to all but one convention, and not one time did I see anyone duke it out for real! I did see a lot of people become friends that weren't, I did see a lot of tears from the emotion of meeting another cluterhead, I saw the tears of people being hit and those watching. I also saw smiles from nboth when it was over. I saw people laughing and haveing fun. One or two in three years had the gal to say something unkind but it was inored as it should be on this board when someone is unkind. The convention and the other geatherings is where I learned so much about how to deal and how to support.
If you don't go you will never know the feeling of meeting another cluterhead.
I tell you guys its great its a wonderful thing.
Every year before the convention mud gets thrown and this comes up. I felt as safe at the conventions as I do at home. Why shouldn't I be safe there my best friends are there.
So if thats a reason for not going, forget it you will be fine, and you will regret it if you don't go! There is no better people than the ones here.
Cat and others have worked hard ! Come on if your afraid to go, don't be it will be a time you will never forget and when you meet you will feel like you have known each other your whole life!

Which is exactly why I'm not going. What kind of convention could it be without a good fisticuffs session or two. :-)
