To me reading all the post that I do and combing the archives today I have to say that there is one person that stuck out, not only is he a sufferer he is one of the best supporters on this board in my eyes.

We have had our ups and downs but I always give credit where its due.

Can I get a "Hell ya" for Opus?

The Dude is always there for those in pain!!!!!

I would like to put a vote in for Margi...................she even supports supporters............my humble opinion... sorry Opus just dont know ya that well... me

I nominate Peppermint.  She is the best.  She can be suffering herself and is still there to support us.  She has no loved one with  ch but comes and supports us anyway.  She is number one in my book.  Always thinking of others.

Jonny you got that right...it is not about the amount of posts a person makes but about the support a person gives. I have not been on here as much as I use to but one thing I know about this family.

  We have had our differences and I know that we have a personality conflict. Because of you I have changed my identity from pjbgravely to Opus. This has made me think about what I post before I blow up at something I really don't  agree with. You have had many thanksyou's also and from some of the members that I am close too. That totally changed how I thought of you and your type of support. We do things differently but I think the result is the same. Hurting people are being helped.

Anyway thanks again for the honor. I think anyone who stays when they are PF or their supportie is PF can be called supporter of the year.

By the way I am pjbgravely every else on the web and Opus on the CH boards.

I think it would be a gross oversight to not mention someone else if anyone wants to officially recognize supporters.

The person I would pick as Supporter of the Century (no, there hasn't been an official competition or vote - this is just my OPINION...) has got to be Marty and what he's done for Jill in this last year.   :o  

Writing nice posts sometimes on an internet message board is one thing.  Bringing someone across the country into your home and supporting them unconditionally 24/7, 365 is a WHOLE other thing.  

Marty, my hat's off to you.  Don't forget that the rest of us supporters are here for YOU, too.  You do an amazing job.

OOH! OOH! I'm a happy camper now!!

Paul/Opus/PJB....and his sidekick, Bill the Cat are an amazing team- it would take a team do accomplish all THEY do! Supporters, cheerleaders, pray-ers, great chatters....the Gravely team has it all.....so gentle, with such concern for everyone. Hell yeah, OPUS!!!!

As for Martin- CAPITAL idea!!! What a guy! Simple, quiet, patient, funny.....and he is sooo there, for all the right reasons. I asked him, when Jill decided to return to San Diego, if he was ready for this. His answer was "well, I'm in this for the long run....and I always wanted a daughter.....". What a perfect pick! ( oh, and by the way, Martin will not want all this attention.....so let's give him an extra dose!
Now, for the rest of you, YOU ARE ALL A CLOSE SECOND!! This group is incredible!!

Yup. And so is spending years of 24/7, 365 of supporting and educating yourself for the sufferer-in-your-home's sake.  I think a gross oversight would be to overlook YOU (Margi) and Ree.
