This is a Zomig box I keep in my truck as I empty it I just fill it back up, I keep this box in the truck because it has the RX on it. I actually read the RX today, I wonder how many old people die because the pharmacy puts the wrong lable on their meds.

unfuckenbelievable!   here's 1 for ya my wife had her allegra (allergy med) refilled, i happen to look at the info sheet that comes with every med & it said i shit you not, last resort skitzophrenia med.     My wife works at Walgreens and this is not the way they distribute their medications at all, as any other person that gets Walgreens prescriptions already knows!     Pappy

I, too get my prescriptions filled at Walgreens, and every one of my Imitrex boxes have a lable on the box.  There is also a label attached to the bag.

Thank goodness they do, it's the only way I would be able to keep up the the prescription numbers.  The bag and whatever's attached to it always end up in the trash.

Least they weren't birth control jonny.

I agree with Pappy, that is what it looks like to me.  I get zomig and axert filled from Walgreens and they put my sticky on a paper stapeled to the bag the meds come in.  You must have an old box or a back woods pharmacy Jonny.  

Would you believe I got home with the wrong persons medicine in with 5 of my other scripts.  I called the pharmacy up and they told me to bring it back in imedietly and they would give me my correct medicine that was missing in the wrong bottles place.

That looks exactly like some of the labels on boxes of meds I got for my daughter - in the middle of the night - at Walgreens - in NYC.

Just a couple observations...

- Walgreens differ.  People make mistakes.  It happens.  People sometimes learn the wrong procedure or whatever.  I can't imagine that Walgreens has somehow magically figured out how to control 100% of the meds that are dispensed at every store.  Hell, sometimes people just refuse to follow procedures until the get fired.  To say it didn't happen because 'Walgreens doesn't do that' is simply naive.  I'm not saying they don't try and try hard, but Pappy (and Karla)... they aren't all perfect.

- This thread is a perfect example of what CH does to people and their temperment

- Pappy, you outright accused Jonny of doctoring or faking the photo, and you did it in public.  That's something I would take personally, too.  So, Jonny taking it as a personal attack seems pretty justified.  Instead of retracting what you said, or apologizing (like I think you should have) you went in the extreme direction south.  Brother, please read the whole thread and try to set aside your bad feelings about Jonny.  Read it as if you posted the picture and Jonny accused *you* of posting a doctored or faked photo.  Maybe you'll start to understand.

I'm not attacking anybody here, just trying to stop this from getting even more ugly.

Hey Jonny...
I'm looking at my Imitrex statdose box from Walgreens and it has the prescription label plastered right across the side of the box. They even do it the same way in California! ;D

What pisses me off is my other box for Maxalt MLT. It says "Take as directed for severe migraines". GRRRRRRR!!!! (Dirty rat-bastards printed that word on the label). ???

Bye the way. I had a client who had her oxy Rx filled at Wallgreens. labels were all fine.

Problem was they filled the bottle with an asthma medicatiion. Could have killed her if she wasn't aware of what the med should look like.

Is that the way they distribute their medications?

Ahhh....while were on the subject of prescriptions and labels.......I like the ones that say they may cause....diahrea, vomiting, headache, nausia, rash, fever, abdominal pains, stomach upset or bleeding, anemia, insomnia or drowsiness (huh), bloating, siezures and dry mouth....or in severe cases coma.  Yup......that'll work thank you sir may I have anuther Pam

If nobody is going to attend because of bickering on the board, then let me know now before I spend anymore money on it.

I agree. I didn't post here for the same good reasons that Cathy gives, I didn't want to send it up the board again when it is obviously two guys needing to 'vent' (is that the right American word?)

But, for the sake of new people, and those who are in two  minds about attending the conference, I WILL send it back up temporarily.

We DO argue here sometimes, we do fall out, I have been abused and have come back (admittedly it was bl** dy hard) and am now friends with my abusers as they care enough to post, not ignore.

I don't honestly think it is the Cathys or even Pappies and Jonnys of this world who need public admonishment, it is those who come on here with no empathy with others, who just wish to assert some sad intellectual or verbal superiority who should be 'flamed', not those who suffer, either with the beast or as supporters of those with the beast and can be a bit prone to writing stuff that is ' beyond the pale'.

I haven't been to the US conference, but, put me right here, I bet you are the best bunch in the flesh, and the only scraps that occur would be because people with 'history' have had a few too many drinks and may be a bit outspoken. Newbies would not be on the receiving end of this, and even if they witnessed it, would see it for what it is, the same as I bet they do on this board. Human beings being human.

Cat, what I meant is that the bullying, threats, and blackmailing that has been going on in this "kingdom" gets a little sickening at times and, in my opinion, will contribute to low attendance this year.  Just my opinion - Cat - certainly nothing reflective of your efforts to date.  You're doing a wonderful job girl!  (I'm not sure what Wendy's trying to explain here, but that was what I meant by my post.)
Any money you spend out of pocket for the convention will be re-imbursed by OUCH - it has been in the past.

Apologies that we have not spoken before.

Sorry, I speak only as it reads but your post doesn' appear at all to agree with what I was saying, it seemed to suggest that Jonny and Pappy's row would stop people attending. Cat, it seemed to me was responding by saying therefore 'Why am I bothering'. I am a relative new person and was trying to undo this by suggesting that perhaps new people are more savvy than you realise.

Also, I can only think that I must also have misunderstood your role as a board monitor. As I say, I am new and have a lot to learn
