Title: why do i get so mean!!! Post by lirrgirl14 on Apr 25th, 2003, 12:54pm I have come to realize that i am not a nice person with the beast insice me. I am soooo angry inside. Does anyone else feel this way? Im read to snap at any given minute catherine >:( |

If you let the beast turn you into an angry person, you're letting him take away a part of you that he has no right to. After a hit....when he is through with you.....try with all you have, to smile and laugh, live your life for all you're worth. If I let him affect me in that way.....I'm letting him win. But I swear to God, when I'm getting attacked, watch out ! >:( Embarassing to say, but during this cycle, I had a argument with my BF. I could feel it building, and I gave in, said you win, can't argue anymore. Well, I got yelled at(and pushed) and I lashed out. Smacked him out of my face before I could stop myself. >:(That's my horror story of what the beast has turned me into at times. Hopefully it'll be the first and last time I get pushed to that extreme. :(Since then, I completely isolate myself until it's over. The other night my girlfriend came in while I was under attack & asked if i was okay...I threw a pillow & a few choice words at her. I have no idea why. I am aware this will happen & try to very hard to stay nice but there is no chance. I'm really lucky she understands & don't hold it against me.... Kev |

Title: Re: why do i get so mean!!! Post by Elaine on Apr 26th, 2003, 7:41am I WAS chronic for 22 years up till Sept 2002 I been fairly pain free now. As a chronic I have cycles also. We call it a cycle in a cycle. Durning a cycle I get kip 10's every time, and get hit many times in a day for about three months at a time. The rest of the time, my clusters are not as bad one every couple of days and range from kip one to a five somethimes higher. Just before a bad cycle starts for me my personality changes. I get mooded and snappy. Almost like PMS, durning the bad cycle. My family and I can tell when the bad times are near. I have learned over the last 22 years how to control that mood swing some. The last couple of years have been better! I am not sure what has happen to cause me to be pain free so long. But I can tell you this I sure have not missed the pain or the mood swings ! |
