The beast just woke me up after only an hour of sleep. I ran out of 02 earlier in the evening. I was really afraid to go to sleep in the first place. The only thing i had to abort it was my imitrex shots that expired 2 years ago. I did half a shot and pain was gone completely in 10 minutes. This is the first time that i have used it and it worked great. Now ive got to go beg my neuro for some more free samples. Ive got a few left, ive been saving them for a rainy day and its pouring here!! Everybody have a happy Easter!! ...................andy

Andy,

I am glad they worked.

One thing you may want to try to avoid the beast waking you up is Melatonin.

After I started using it no beast wake ups in first rem cycle.

Take a Dramamine (DOns Advice) to knock you out and 9mg of Melatonin to ease system into Rem cycle.

Has worked for me for the last month.

Just hope the Doc don't take me off after some new health probs have come up, that would be a big blow to me!

Hi Andy,

Glad to hear your Imitrex shot worked. I also had a two-year expired shot in the auto-injector at the beginning of my last cycle and it did the trick.

Because nothing worked during this cycle (Pred helped for one week at the beginning but Verapamil did nothing after - Found out I was not taking enough mg), I had only Imitrex to rely on, I had to shoot myself 44 times in a four-week period. Thank God for the stuff!

I now have four mortgages on my house but what the hell... my cycle finally ended two weeks ago (YES!), summer is coming, life is beautiful again.

And that's exactly what I wish you. Not the 4 mortgages, the rest of the stuff... ;)
