Title: time change?
Post by Callico_Kid on Apr 16th, 2003, 12:04am
Does the time change make any difference in the timing and frequency of attacks?  Do the attacks come at the same actual time with only the clock being different, or does the change in wake/sleep times make a difference?

Since I only recently went chronic I don't recall noticing a difference with the time change, but this time ...!  Is it my imagination or does anyone else notice this?

thanx!

Interesting question! I never had an episode that crossed the time change yet.

I did notice that a time pattern I had during the first 3 episodes did not run up during the 4th etc.

The beast did hit me differently.  I guess no one told him that we were moving the clock ahead one hour.

Time zone changes have often been a trigger for me.  Daylight saving changes do not bother me as much as flying to one side of the country or the other.  Altitude changes can also be a trigger for me.  I guess flying is a double hit.

Being chronic I have seen time changes.  What happens to me is I get hit at the same time every day.  Example 8:30am.  Time change occurs.  Initially I will get hit an hour off.  Then within a week or two I am back to having ha occuring at 8:30am again.

I'm chronic also, and to tell you the truth I didn't notice anything different....but that could be because I completely forgot that there was a time change that Sunday morning... ???

But I my h/a's don't come at the EXACT same time every day....right now they are coming about 4- 5 hours apart...seems like they have gotten worse in the past week but that seems to coincide with the fact that I am having a HELLUVA time with my allergies this week!  >:(

PS: is this my 200th post yet??

Mine would hit around an hour after I fall asleep no matter what time that would be so the changing of the clock would not effect mine.
