Title: A suggestion for a TRAVEL in MA... Jonny!!! Post by ZAIRA on Apr 10th, 2003, 3:36pm Sorry for the unusual question in this message board... but I need your help :P I should help a friend of mine who will spend 25 days in June in the Massachusetts. For the first 5 days he will stay in Boston and around, but then, he would like to visit the most beautiful places (Quincy, Plymouth, Barnstable) and he will rent a car. What do you suggestion? He wanded to visit the MA’s Bay (Cape cod Bay) till to Provicetown. What do you think? Is it better to travel by train or by car? How will the weather be? I couldn’t help him!! Hello to all and thank to you for your help! Zaira and Roberto... Italian travelling ;D |

Cape cod is where he wants to go, thats where the sites are. ...........................jonny Opps, the weather should be great in June and a car is the way to go just dont try to drive to the cape on a Friday afternoon, it could become an all day affair ;D |

`Ay God, Woodrow.............you're right on the money again. Barnstable - If you can see it, it's a barn...if you can smell it, it's a stable.....ergo: Barnstable. Zaira........FORGET the rest of the fine state of "Taxachussetts" and head straight for Cape Cod. It's a marvelous place to make a small fortune, as long as you start with a large one. Drive.........public transportation doesn't really exist there as the rest of humanity knows it. The entire isle is pretty much a parking lot, unless it's a busy time like the weekend...then things get REALLY slow. The Cape has a ton of fun and free things to do......from Scargo Tower, to the Cedar Swamp Trails, to the codfishing in Chatham, to the fleet at Wellfleet........and the Piece de Resistance.....Provincetown.......the waiters are neato. It's a great place for touring, eating, and cheap sex. Stay on Cape Cod, and good memories will abound. The rest of the state reminds me of northern Philadelphia.......what can I say........ Best fishes, RJ |

Don't let Jonny drive Unless equiped with map, compass, 3 days food and water, galileo type instrument, laser guided homing device, flock of homing pigeons, a trumpet for heralding, weather balloons, and a large pile of dirty magazines for something to do while driving aimlessly across the country side. 8) |

Title: Re: A suggestion for a TRAVEL in MA... Jonny!!! Post by ZAIRA on Apr 11th, 2003, 2:46pm Hello boys and girls ;D, thanks for yr. indications, I’m organizing a nice trip to my friend! Today I reserved for my friend the Hotels in Boston and Quincy. It was very difficult for me because they spoke very swiftly and I didn’t understand ;D... but at the end I succeed in booking! As what I read and saw in Internet, the Cape Cod Bay should be very nice. I’ve got half mind to leave with my friend, and come to get tan in the USA ;)! Jonny, you live in a town where time is not passing, I read it history and I think it’s a good experience for turists to go back in time... Anyway, thank you again for help ;), PFDAN, Zaira :-* :-* :-* |
