Hey, everybody. Thanks for the welcome and advice the other day. I slept a few hours last nite, and I think I can make a little bit of sense. Well, I'm a 34yr old F, and I'm in a cycle right now. I stupidly thought that this wasn't going to come back :P but lo and behold, here I am. Last year it seemed to go on for 2-3 wks. This time it has been 10 nights so far. I used to take imitrex, but my Dr. won't give me any more since my BP went up. I'm on Atenolol for that and also Norvasc. Anyhow, mine always kick my ass late at night,so "I've got that to look forward to, which is nice..." ::)(Caddyshack,anyone?)I started the water thing and last nite I only had 3 bangers instead of 5-6 so, hey, there's hope,right?Well,thanx for being here, you guys. I've seen some desperate moments lately,and I'm glad I'm not alone.(Especially since the people I've been around lately have been begging for a b*tchslap) Sorry, but I just can't stand it when people are mean to those in PAIN. Sounds like you're headed in the right direction, if the number of HAs is any indicator. ???

You didn't say anything about Oxygen? Have you tried it?? If not, DO! It helped my husband A LOT!!!! The people here helped us with that..

Anyway.. just wanted to say HI ...

Welcome to the weird, wired and sometimes just plain
Crazy.

Here to help 24-7 and maybe a little advice.

My Doc had me on Atenolol for my heart condition, but it did'nt seem to do any good with my CH. So he put me on Verapamil 720 mils a day, he said it would help my heart as well as my CH, and he was right. Might want to check into it, it can't hurt.

Hi Bonnie,

You came to the right place. There are alot of veteran Clusterheads here that can lead you the PFDAN. Also, we can't forget about the supporters, they always show their love : )) Sounds like the Beast is new to you......what a wonderful creature. Always comes around at the wrong time....and hates sleep.
At best I can say welcome, stay active here, and enjoy the ride : ))) Your definately not alone, 24-7. Also I agree with Tina, you gotta get the 02, it's key.

Hi, Bonnie!
Welcome, and sorry you're here...
I'm new to this too, although I've had CH for over 10 yrs now.
I'm also right in the middle of a bout, with one VERY STRONG episode per night.
Oddly enough, what seems to be working for me is to get up, put some running shoes on, and go for a jog. The pain doesn't go away, but seems to get weaker.

Hello Bonnie, WELCOME and remain with us!!

My suggestion is to try O2 (talk to your Doctor), for me it works and sometimes I don’t use Imitrex. This is to stop the attacks.
