To make a long story short. Inormally do not go to my primary care doctor. I go to a doctor that I like, who does not take insurance. When I'm not in cycle I rarely go to the doctor so my out ofpocket is very little.

I needed to get a referral so I could go to a Neuro. I make an appointment with my primary. It's the first time that I ever went to him.

He brings me into his office, and spends 20 minutes trying to convince me to go to him instead of the other doctor.

I tell him I just need the referral, and if you could hurry it up, because I'm starting to get a HA. He goes onto to ask me what cluster HA are. I explain....

He tells me he needs to examine me. HA is climbing to a 4 at this point. He asks "how many HA's do you get a month 2 or 3?"

I pull out my chart that started on March 22nd that has 39 documented. Also included all of the drugs I have taken in that time. He looks up and says "You have spelled fuerinal wrong."

I nearly throw him out the window (which has been my catch phrase since I went on Prednisone).

At that point I thought it could not be worse, but then still with a Kip 4, he shoves his finger up my ass.

It's at that point that I just tell him to either give me the referral or I'm going to leave.

The only good thing is that he did give the refrerral to me.

Funny, pred did the same thing to me years ago!!! ;)

Yes. Prednisone can cause one to want to throw things out of windows. Makes road rage a little more interesting too. Just another side effect I guess.
