Just got the word from our girl Cat, the trooper in the convention trenches.

The room rate is a flat rate. No break for a single but it doesn't double either.

I'm bunking with 2 other CH Marines.......we're eating Jerky, and the room has a frig. That's enough to fill the ticket.

If I get to go, I already have one roommate but it might be fun to have more than 1 roomie... Anything to drive the costs down....

I wouldn't want to let my clusterbud down, so maybe doubling or tripling up would help. I know people like to have their own rooms and so do I, but hey, in this case, lets just get ya'll there.

In Vancouver we had 5 of us in one room...of course there were 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, but there wasn't much sleeping going on, and there was a LOT of smoking and bullshitting.

To All The CH family:

I am planning to be there.

If anyone in the CH world wants to share (since what I gather all rooms are figured on "double occ" ), I will be willing to do that.

Let me know.

I won't be in the room much of the time. So......
I will be willing & ready to split the cost of the room.
Since it is based on a double occ, might as well save us both some bucks.

If not, that's ok too.

Do the majority reserve the regular rooms that are $ 78.00 a nite.....wasn't sure reservein a fancier room was the best route since everyone will be hangin out visitin and all not in rooms....except fer the towel parties that is Pam that'll have ho-ho-s and ding dongs cuz I love hostess with the mostess

And I forgot to mention the "CH.com Swingers Club". Three couples sharing one room and two couples sharing amother room and that's three more rooms that won't get sold!

Pam, not sure if this is what you mean, but the rooms are all in the same place, but some of them are overlooking the water, or right on the water. The $78 rooms don't have windows or doors or anything else that faces the water.

I resemble your remark, but I'm still LMAO.

In Vancouver, I roomed with Elaine and on the last day Bama. We could hear Mastiff and her 4 cohorts all night long. And this year I'm rooming with Cat......No one gets too much sleep at these things. And that's the fun of it all.

Besides, there's gonna be at least 100 this year if not more, so the rate problem is a mute one. Look THAT one up in your dictionary, oh yee , of little faith.
