Public Apology:

People of the board, I am so very sorry for the post I made the other day.  What I have seen from my post was not what I had intended.  My intentions were NEVER to hurt or inflame anyone.  I am hoping most of you can see that.  Personal vendettas were not a consideration whatsoever.  
There are many of us "lurkers/Sufferers/Supporters" that use to post but do not anymore for this very reason. My address is there for anyone that wants to send mail.  This community was meant to help, support, make us laugh and feel like a family in a world that doesn't understand what we deal with most of the time.  Because of my post I have created a friction that I didn't intend. For those of you that understood what I was saying "Thank you". Again, I am sorry.

Remember what freedom of speech really is:


* You can say what you like.

* If somebody does not like what you are saying, they can say so.

* BUT, you should not be intimidated beforehand - or even afterwards if somebody jumps on you.

I too apolgise for flying off the handle, when you fall in love with someone and it ends after three years sharing space on a message board is tough. Ecspecialy when I have been supporting everyday and she only posts after two years of not posting to.....um....forget it

I apologize as well for my part in this bullshit too.   But it sure drives home the point why some folks really ARE intimated to post here anymore, including and especially Piper.  

Piper, you have nothing to apologize for.  Family disagrees sometimes.  This is one of those time.

I know it's foolish to even post to this subject anymore.   ::)  I'm done.

I dont know if youve seen the "views from a protestor" post, but I have gotten myself into quite a spirited conversation on that thread.
the people here can be a little "over enthusiastic" about how RIGHT they are and how WRONG you are.
But they are concerned for people they love and this is their way of expressing it w/ strong emotional reactions and all.
simply look them in the eye and say "I am an American and am defending freedom of thought and opinion at home while our soldiers defend personal freedom abroad "
I have been lumped in with extremists, roiters, anti-patriots, even been accused of Spitting in soldiers faces -  all for voicing a different opinion which is not even very radical.  I am not taking it personally, im sure these are otherwise nice people.
