no. I usually only have to hit it only once

no....i usually have to scroll soon after opening a post.
Ya see...all the messages don't fit on my screen...not all at once. No matter how small i make the letters. Maybe I need a longer monitor.

no...not if I read the post first...if i don't read the post and want to know what it says...then yes...and i must continue reopening the post till i read it...unless of course it's Jonny's...cause he says the same thing in all his posts so i no longer have to read them to know what they say.

no. not all of them. Especially most of  these recent ones. I usually have to shake my head insredullyly and say "what a load of crap" first...and repeatedly "refreshing" them doesn't seem to help...they remain "stale"

no...I have options...i can hit my "home" button cause the "general" forum here is my "home" page.

no again...i can hit my "back" button instead...butt then I have to remember which ones I opened cause they all still say "new"

I hope i have helped you...if not....Please read all the left links and and then reask yer question. ...well...it's like my granfather, Rosannadenna used to say..."it's always somethin".

good grief

Yes Don, I do. Sometimes the link times out and sometimes it loads blank. This is usually a server problem and not dependent on download speed.

I know what you mean, Don.

My computer at work automatically refreshes when I go to a new post or bump up to the board topics.  But my computer at home, I have to refresh to show new messages or show that I read the post.  For example, it may say " Hey Slammy you have 5 messages", and I click and read them.  Then I delete them and go to the main message board.  It will still show I have 5 messages until hit refresh.  I don't know why I don't have to do it at work, but I have to at home.   :-/
