Title: How do you deal?
Post by CJohnson on Mar 17th, 2003, 9:36am
Has there been a topic presented where everyone just chimed in with what they take/do to prevent/abort their CH? If so, could someone post a link? I'm sure I could sift through the archives and glean the information, but it would be great to just be able to go down a list and see what everybody does. Here is what I do:
1. Amerge and Fioricet in the morning and before bed.
2. Vigorous exercise, cold nasal spray (water), deep breathing outside, and drinking plenty of water to abort an attack.

I have tried everything known to man.  All have failed me.  I now take methadone to stop the pain from comming through.  I have been pain free almost 6 months.  I also take imitrix ns for breakthrough ha.

You should be able to get a good feel for what people take by reading the medications section of this board.

I started a thread about that awhile back (dont recall when) and the thread was huge, wanted newbies to be able to see what works for many and how nothing works for everyone.

Look at "cluster survey", on the left; click on the results button and you will get much of what you want.
