Click on the "Imitrex tip" button and learn how to turn that one shot into three.

Or, if you're a klutz like me, when you get a refill, get the vials.  Then you just keep the syringes stashed everywhere.  I usually wait until to late to do the trex tip....hands and brain won't cooperate at that point.

i did.. in fact thats one of the first things i learned in here..problem is.. Ive talked to the pharmacist, I have 2 nurses in the family that Ive talked to.. and theyve all pretty much talked me out of doing that. They say theres a possiblility of contaminating the needle if I use the same needle more than once. I did email the author of that post and inquired about using the same needle 3 times but have not heard from him yet. Whats your experience with it?

I think there are a lot of people who use that tip.  Since I've been on the board, I've never heard anyone mention a problem with it.

I reuse my syringes...the only problem with that, is that by the 3rd shot....they get a little dull...... :o

LMMFAO!!!!

The pharmacist just wants you to buy more from him and the nurses are just doctor wannabe's

I never had a prob, it goes in you and back in the holder......wheres the contamination?

People here been doing it for years with not one problem.

Check out the clinical study at the top of the message board. If there's a participating clinic near you, sign up.
Figured I had nothing to lose so I did it. They kept me supplied w/Imitrex freebies the whole time of the study.
Can't say much good about the study drug but the Imitrex sure did come in handy....and besides that,
I found a great Dr that actually knows about CH's  :)
pfdan's to you
Jim
