Post by cathy on Feb 27th, 2003, 7:12pm :'(.....tonight at 6pm I got a call from Wes who was at work....he is now in hospital they think he may have had a heart attack...48 years old as if he hasn't had to put up with enough over the last few years...anyway hoping you'll send him some of your best vibes, thankyou all. Post by cathy on Feb 28th, 2003, 10:37am :)...wow...thankyou all for the support you really are one great family to be a part of....I have just come back from the hospital...unfortunately it was a heart attack but you will be pleased to know he is okay, they are keeping him in for a while... but he must be okay because he wanted me to pull the curtains around the hospital bed....lol ;)....this is one big wake up call for me, just hoping it'll get rid of his CH cos Svenn said it got rid of his!!! anyway will keep you all posted and thanks again, hope everyone else is well.. My bro-in-law is 46 and has has two heart attacks in the past two years (one before double by-pass surgery, one after). I am 46 too, so I guess I ought to be thinking about laying off of the eggs and bacon breakfast every morning. Good vibes coming your way too! I hope all turns out good. |

Post by cathy on Mar 1st, 2003, 5:08pm ;D ;D ;D ;D....good day...went to see Wes and the cardiologists are due to see him on Monday, he's told them he wants to come home....me I'd be milking it and wanting to stay for a few weeks!!!! no kids, bed all day, meals bought to me and no washing up, TV, internet and private phone...what more could a woman want...hmmmm ::) okay maybe I'd wanna come home too... ;D Wes went on the internet and saw all the posts he wants me to let you all know he was really touched and thanks you all, he has finally registered under his own name but couldn't remember his password to post, but will when he gets home...!! There's an old chap in the bed opposite who's as deaf as a post, the nurse went over to him to ask if he had a shaving charger she could lend to one of the other patients...this was the conversation: Nurse: "you havn't got a shaving charger, the patient next to you could borrow have you..??" Man: "I had one this morning...." Nurse: "Do you know where it is now...?" Man: "Oh it's fine, it was getting long" Nurse: "What was getting long..?" Man: "No only a couple of days...going home soon" Nurse: ??? I was rolling, especially when the hospital DJ came over to ask him if he wanted a record playing on the radio for him later that night....his reply....play what you like I won't hear it anyway...the nurse finally clicked...me I was wetting myself.... ;D ;D ;D...oh well maybe you had to be there..it was funny at the time.... Love you all....cathy :-* |
