Title: Are we all accounted for??????? Post by Ree on Feb 21st, 2003, 10:46am I know alot of CH Headbangers are Rock and Roll Headbangers and we've had a terrible tragedy here in New England...A night club that was headlining "Great White" burned to the ground due to a pyrotechnic display the band was displaying... There are at least 63 dead many many more missing... I for one know that I probably know some of the people involved. Hope that everyone is safe... Pray for the victims and those that are looking for loved ones... love Ree |

Post by cootie on Feb 21st, 2003, 3:32pm Wow I haven't heard bout that one yet.....HOW SAD....we used ta be big concert goers....jus don't like em as much cuz of 'just that sorta thing'....seems they over crowd at alot of events these days and not a good escape route.....we've been in a few situations at concerts where panic caused a stampede and almost got trampled !! Fire is always a danger and no fast escape in clubs I always thought. Pam :-[ |

I have been in small clubs with alot of people but the mom in me always says "where are the exits..." Let's all learn from this... Even at the movies when you get to your seat or any place you are in LOOK FOR THE EXITS... Love to you all... Glad your safe jonny... hate to see that waist length hair get singed.... Post by cootie on Feb 22nd, 2003, 1:31am I seen that movie....'The Man with the Exray Eyes'......anyhow.....guess that place had 4 exits but no one really knew where they were or paid attention to know.....a panic would of still caused alot of over crowding at them....esp with a big fire like that. Doors are always to narrow for exits....there not safe with that in mind and a crowd rushing to get away. I would imagine someone is gonna get sued over all this....Pam-with-more-honk-thoughts |

I was gonna see them when they played the Stone Pony here in Asbury Park, N.J. Heard they lit up the same Pyro Display but was stopped by the Club's Manager.
