Yeah, and I like a beer and when in cycle it WILL definitely bring on a CH in 20 min. but does that classify me as a heavy drinker? There are many on the MB that do not drink at all and still have them. When in cycle, I do not drink (rarely and then pay for it) and still get them. Maybe this is where OUCH can help with education.... But, it's nice to know that we're "out there" as far as info.... Jim R |

I'm sure that site is one of Ueli's favorites...the guys just crazy fer homeopathy and the like. and...hey...they noted O2 is particularly good fer nightime attacks...i sense a veritable goldmine of hardhitting research here. boozers...hmmm... i be's an alchoholic. I drank heavily:no CH. I quit for years:no CH. I drank heavily again:CH started a couple years later. I quit: 16 months later still get CH. I'm not dead yet so the study continues. A large percentage of CHer's seem to be escape artists. Folks who deal with inconclusive causes and unreliable management techniques of the worst pain imaginable looking fer mood altering substances!!! I fer one am shocked. sorry...i gotta get back to that site and buy something. They have a cure for everything there....and I've got a bunch of stuff wrong with me. It appears there are many remedies fer my negative, sarcastic, attitude... butt I can't find any in suppository form. Did I mention I'm pissed off about my CH startin to break thru my 480 Verapamil wall after being PF for well over a year? Good Grief den |

Seems to chase the beast away for at least 12 months. During pain free period I do my best to be considered a heavy drinker(beers and shots...whatever you got) While in cycle, I try beer tests once a week 1st week can't get thru 1 beer...add painkiller 2nd week almost finished 1 beer...add painkiller 3rd week start 2nd beer....add painkiller 4th week still on 2nd...add painkiller 3.5 months later 3 beers... no painkiller...minor shadows 12 years ago I gave up drinking totally...Did not touch a beer for 5 years, missed 5 good years of drinking but did not miss a visit from the beast. Moral of the story: I hopefully will be off my meds on March 1st...I plan to resume drinking as part of a normal healthy lifestyle on March 2nd. I say to drink when you can, we all deserve to get happy from dealing with the pain. See ya at Happy hour Joe P. 8) |

He keeps trying to get me to take Perc's, h-codone, Oxy's, etc for the blown up back.....and I throw them back in his lap.......filty narcs......make me itch and don't do squat. My own method of liquid pain control is quite effective, and I've got the "Proof" to back it up.
