He did it!! :) They got a good graft and the doctor told Linda that DJ was a good boy on the operating table. He's in ICU right now (9 pm Pacific) and is coming around. She asked me to post as she's not able to get to a computer tonight - she's going to stay at the hospital with him as long as they'll let her. He's recognizing her, but he's still pretty groggy. The surgery took one hour less than they expected, but he was under for a long time.

Linda says he'll be up in no time, stirring up trouble and chasing nurses. I told her to tell him that we're all VERY proud of him and SO happy with this news!!! ;D

Takes more than that to knock down a clusterhead!!

And, it proves that God listens to Clusterpeeps when we really need a favour. ;)

Is he at Stanford again? I'd pay him a visit if he is. My friend Sandy (the one who got the lung transplant just before xmas) is still there in North ICU, so it would be cool to drop by if he's close.
