DJ I know when you started ch.com you started it hoping to talk to another clusterhead. Do you know what you really did. You not only got a bunch of clusterheads together, you made it possible for so many other people as well to find help. We all know that some here are not clusterheads. Fact is 99.9 are here because they need some kind of help. Most are clusterheads or supporters, but there are some here who have other problems they have emotional problems, or are just plain lonely looking for a friend and so on and so on. What ever the reason for them to be here, you can bet your bottom dollar they have gotten help here. You Dj have done much more than you set out to do. You have helped more than you will ever know. This site has saved lives of many.

Dogs and cats have been helped, children have been helped ( my little Garrett was one and he did not have clusters)! Weather you meant for all these people to be here or not, this site has helped everyone, in some form or fashion.

I know Tuesday you will have another operations, and I hope you know that we all Thank you very much for this site and we all care about you. Prayers and thoughts will be coming your way. You Fucking take care of yourself, you make sure someone lets us know how you are. Your the man that made all this happen and we all have strong feelings for you. Keep your chin up, kiss the nurses. You tell them you have hundreds of people here who you mean a lot to. I owe you dinner at the next convention and a few beers.

Many, many thanks to you bro. This site is awesome and has been a real gift to many in need, myself included. I don't know where I would have been without the information and support that I've found here. Probably in a loony bin some where.

Hope all goes well with your surgery. I'm got a minor procedure Monday myself, but nothing big.

BTW, I'm a nurse and if you try to kiss me I'm gonna jack yer jaw! ;D

DJ's just having this surgery so he can say he can only caddy at the next convention Golf Tournie...you watch. Then, he'll say he's not sure if he's strong enough to hit a golf ball. Then, he'll TRY, just once. Then, he'll proceed to knock that little white ball outta sight. He's just a sandbagger who goes to great lengths to get us thinking that he's not that good a golfer. We're onto you, Mr. "Oh, look, I got a birdie".

Could you please let me know how D.J. surgery goes.
I kind of feel weird asking this,what is wrong with D.J.?? I remember appr. 1 - month ago,he was going to the bay area ( i just assumed it was cluster related ) hopefully its nothing too serious( i hope ). PFDAN to all !!

Can't really say it better (or funnier) than it's already been said. The important thing is that everyone speaks from the heart. You are a lucky man to have the love of a great number of friends, and they are lucky to have you. You have done an amazing thing in life....so many people have the want and desire to help people, but not many people are able to actually do something. You have done something which has helped, and will continue to help, such a large number of people in need.

You are an amazing man, and someday soon, I hope I actually have the honor of meeting you in person.

It is rare to cross paths with a person who has taken their demons and turned them into a source of hope and help for others. I feel blessed to have crossed your path DJ. just to add my two cents worth.
I have learned more about CH's from this website than I have in 18 years of dealing with various Dr's.
I've actually suggested things to them that I have read about on here.
Many thanks to you DJ, your site had given a lot of people hope who might not otherwise have had it.

First off, Johnny Thanks for posting MoyaMoya.com in relating to what's happening to DJ, For some of us not knowing. I've been all over his new site and challenge every CH'er whoever thought for one minute how much this site has helped them out to go visit MoyaMoya.com to get an Idea of what is to come of his next home and for the thousands of people he will help. Damnit you guys.... you're killing me here! :'( What can I say other than what I've said all along...

I didn't do it, YOU GUYS did!

Every single one of you who've made a post, offered a kind word to someone who needed it, shared your story... YOU are the one's who've made this site the interesting FAMILY it has become, NOT me! I simply put the framework together. YOU GUYS gave us a heart!

I THANK ALL OF YOU FOR THAT!

Ok... I'm settled in CA again. Have some pre-op appts tomorrow morning and then go in early Tues for surgery. My mom will have my cell phone and will be making some phone calls as soon as I get out of surgery so everyone can have an update.

Hopefully I'll have another COOL nurse I can talk into letting me make a post to the board myself from the ICU! ;D ;D

THANK YOU for all of the prayers, wishes, and vibes! With all of you pulling for me, NOTHING can go wrong!!

P.S. Charlie!! You GOTTA let me use that one!!! LOL

Folks:

DJ e-mailed me and invited me to visit him at Stanford. The surgery is on Tuesday, so I will wait until Wednesday to make my first visit.
I'll keep you posted on DJ's conquests with the nurses! :o

Oh Man, DJ!

I'm sitting up while you're in surgery, and I thought I needed to add based on the subject line of this thread...

CH.COM educated my doctors (all of them), and gave me relief from the beast for the first time in 20 years. I found you back in 1998, right after start-up, and I've had the best years of my life since then.

Wish there was something I could do besides pray for you --

Maybe I'll just send a big wad of money to OUCH.
