Our lake-effect snow is somewhat mitigated because we're 30 miles inland from Lake Erie. We usually get a ton of the stuff though but they do a good job with it in Chautauqua County 8) You're gonna get it Ted & Jonny. Enjoy.. :D White it is. Charlie |

Oh well ... guess we will be celebrating Christmas all week (as each of us shovels ourselves out) !!! The power companies and the road crews deserve a mighty high five for the job they are trying to do to clear the roads around here ! God bless them every one. Oh, and yea ..... it's a REALLY WHITE Christmas here in Central PA !!! |

Post by cootie on Dec 26th, 2002, 1:41pm In upper mid Ohio we ended up with one heckofa snow storm.....started in Xmas eve...ended up with over 6 inches here...prolly closer to 8 inches cuz it is to the topa my snow boots. Got worse as the day went on with the blowin snow and driftin. Left the inlaws bout 5:30 pm and seen cars and trucks stranded all over and half way up hills stuck slidien backwards....good thing we got a big 4-wheel drive......it got downrite dangerous out there !!!!!
