Post by cerebus on Dec 21st, 2002, 1:27pm Well everyone, I think I may finally be PF (geez I hope) I had also hoped that maybe just maybe I could get started back with my airbrush, but alas, it seems that it just wasn't meant to be. Pimmony and Rev and the rest of you who posted such great examples of photography etc. I was totally inspired,and now, I am discouraged. My work could never compare. Enough self pity....for now at least. The main reason for this thread is because.... Just when I thought "great!, I can start painting again". Things Blew up at work. One of my bosses walked out from his job and my work schedule has doubled. They called me in Thursday on my one of few days off to cover a shift and I am now scheduled everyday for the next two to three weeks ( Except Christmas). I don't even know what my schedule is anymore, its on a day to day basis as to when I am going to have to go in, and I have NO idea when I'll get to go home once I get there. So it is written, out of the frying pan and into the fire....yet AGAIN! If it ain't one thing its another, Looks like I get to put my creativity ( as diminished as it is) on hold for another un-disclosed amount of time. Sorry for the whine, but, it is going really well with the crappy tasting meal put on my plate. PF Hellidays to all of you I hope yours are better than mine. Cerebus |

Do what you promised to do, work, and if you have the spirit, you will become inspired at the most incredible moments and locations, when you really have no time at all... Remember Mozart, Bach and Beethoven worked when somebody with money commanded a piece of music. We don't look down on them, do we? Creative inspiration ha been much overrated, I say it again. |

Last year I worked the first 21 days of Dec in a row, this year, 12 days off with pay. Same company! Strange place sometimes, shift work is hard. Hang in there, you will get a break soon and then you can purge some of that creative energy that is building up inside you......and then show it to us! ;D PF Holidays all, Mark |
