I posted this last year at the anniversary of the death of my greatest friend and supporter. This is the 2 yr. anniversary, & I want to post it again, so all you supporters out there will know what you mean to all of us.

My friend Ernie, took me on knowing about my headaches. He always had the coffee pot cleaned and ready for the next one to hit. Had frozen peas/corn in the freezer. Broke up his welding duo so I could have extra power when I ran out of e-tanks on a week-end.

When I ran outta everything.......it was no problem for him to drive me around the neighborhood....head sticking out the window, at 3 in the am....

That man is gone now. I have no other supporters except you guys. All you who have a great supoprter????? Go to him/her right now and give them a huge kiss from me...and from you.

I'm sorry this is such a grim anniversary for you. Know that we really ARE all here for you whenever you need us - just a phone call or email away. No questions asked, just unconditional love.

I must have read your post 10 times. Yet I am reluctant to post since I am not very good at this sort of thing.. I never know what to say to something like that.

So, I just wont say anything except that, even though there is a long distance between us, I am and will be here when and if you need me, together with the rest of this great group of people.. Just ring that little bell and we'll come running.

There is no way we can give our supporters credits enough for what they are doing for us.

They are true ANGELS if you ask me.

Dont know what i had done if its not for my beautiful wife.She wake up with me and make sure that the oxymask is on the right way.Make sure that the shots is ready,and if im not able to set the shots my selv she does that.Then she goes to bed again and check in to me after about 15-20 minutes to see if everything is OK.How can we repay that kind of support?

Even my 2 sons does help out.It has been a couple of times when they had to break me down on the floor and just sat on me because i was trying to hurt my self.

So to all supporters

WE LOVE YOU MORE THEN YOU CAN IMAGINE

Linda.....sorry this is such a sad day for you, I for one am here for you, anytime anyday....Ernie was also a lucky person to have had you in his life....thinking of you on this sad day. :(

Our supporters are, all too often, unsung heros of our battle for living a managable life.

Please hang in there for all of us, Linda! In spite of the reminder of your loss, I'm praying you'll have a terriffic Christmas holiday.

Dunno where I'd a been had it not been for a silly boy (who I ended up marrying) who knew the importance of keepin the coffee kettle ready to go. Or who could in a flash gather up the kids and push mom to the car and head for ER. Or, who looked at me and in a flash got that tub ready and handed me the coffee in the tub along with an ice pak and it was NUTTIN.....Jes anudda day in paradise. Who listened to my feverish blabbering after the attack passed and jokingly told me "slow down, mediate, don't set yaself up for the next one........."..........

Yep. Thanks Linda. I hug him every night cuz he sleeps beside me (and has for 14 years now....):)

I pray that each person here finds ONE PERSON who is standing close by and taking every ragged and frayed breath with you in those times when it means the world of difference in coping with something like CH. The mystery illness that eludes the understanding of most everyone. Except for me -- and YOU -- and that special someone. To that special someone -- Thanks is just not enough.....

I am so sorry for your loss Linda... at times like these we treasure our friends and supporters and hold them tight. The world is so unpredictable. You will always miss Ernie... I too have lost a friend that I grew to depend on for support. I talk to her picture some days as if she would come out to calm my fears.
If you ever need an ear I am here most days... thanks for the kind words. Love to you in this holiday time filled with memories... I'm right there with you tonight remembering old days back when... Ree

Linda,

I'm sad that his is an anniversary of loss for you. I want you to know something though, and I want it public knowledge.

There are 2 women on this board (no offense guys, but it's hard for you to fully understand this female type stuff ;) ), you are one of them. You are a single mother of 7 children. You suffer chronic CH's, you have many many times reached out to me to say, hang in there, you can do it. You are the one I think of, you and Elaine, when I think I can't handle anymore. I look to you two as my inspiration. I admire you more than you could possibly know, and perhaps I should show it more often. But here it is for the record, you're a hero in my book.
