Title: Another 2200 getting pink slips Post by echo on Dec 17th, 2002, 3:23pm The new VP's have been named and their new areas of responsibilities identified. The problem is -- the organization I work for, and it's charter is not mentioned under any VP. I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy over this one. Should know for sure the 1st week in January. Could be tomorrow. Thanks to Sprint for adding a little more stress to the holiday season. |

Title: Re: Another 2200 getting pink slips Post by echo on Dec 17th, 2002, 4:33pm I'd love to get my hands on this laptop as a parting gift. Now that the word is out, and people are starting to freak alittle there is a lot of information missing from the shared drives. Kind of a "I made it, I have it, let me go and you'll be unable to find it". For me, they paid me to make it, so it belongs to the corp. The IT geeks will find it anyway. |

Title: Re: Another 2200 getting pink slips Post by BobG on Dec 18th, 2002, 6:43am Maybe this will brighten your day. >:( John Snow, who Dubya wants as Treasury Secretary, is retiring from hs $10.1 million a year job at CSX Corp. He worked there for 25 years and is getting credit for 44. His retirement will be $2.47 million a year, every year until he dies. If he gets the Treasury job he'll get a salary of $161,200 a year. And he'll be in charge of changing the retirement laws for rest of us that will reduce the benefits of those now close to retirement age. $2.47 million plus $161 thou a year is rediculous. Hell, I've never made more than 1 million** a year and I've always gotten along just fine. ;D **slight exaggeration |
