I am just curious....I love photography. Anybody else? If you have some picture that you have taken that you are proud of, post them. Here are a few of mine.....I can't figure out how to post pics on the board, so just cut and paste into your browser.

Rev, Click on the little picture tag 4th one 2nd row. http://URL then paste your url where is says URL, don't forget to remove the URL word. Then click disable smilies button under message screen which allows code to be used and then your pics should appear

Thanks all. And Marc, your pictures are beautiful. I knew as many folks as there on our board now, there had to be someone else who enjoyed taking pics. Sometimes we all need some of these beautiful pictures to "think on" when in the midst of the quake. It is one of the things that has helped me the most, not just with headaches, but in life in general.

nice to meet you too! and yes we lived in S.F. in the early 80s and ventura county several different times, managed a koa campground in visalia 3years ago and just left malibu this last aug. cali is one of those places you just can't get completly out of your system.

I'm sorry for the size, but this is my favorite photo I have taken. It is a picture of a piece of glass art by Richard Satava. This was a difficult photo! It is, in fact, my first published photo, so it is special to me.

Call me crazy, but I'm guessing that's why he called it "Moon Jellyfish" ;D

His work is very special and made for an incredible photographic challenge. I took this photo in a completely darkened room, except for a small low-wattage bulb directly under the artwork. Getting the focus right was difficult, as was getting the right exposure to accent the artwork evenly. My biggest challenge was to convey the depth and spacial qualities of the piece, which is why I opted for the low light effort.

That is an especially beautiful photo Fubar... the lighting work you did was exceptional.

On the picture that I took of the lake, you can barely see a dude fishing on the boat ramp...it is all underwater due to a flood.

so much talent here... I feel as if mine is diminished.
Great work everyone, keep it up. Unfortunately, I have no way of getting any of my stuff to the MB till I get photo opportunities. Maybe some day, but judging from what I've seen here I don't know if I would want to tarnish the board with mediocre artwork.
