Title: Lunch with some of the Family
Post by DJ on Dec 13th, 2002, 11:55am
Well, I guess ya'll already heard some of us from Clusterville got together for lunch yesterday?  I was gonna put up the pics yesterday, but I was having the same trouble with the board some of you were.

I would strongly encourage those of you who have others from the board in your area to get together for lunch, if nothing else.  It's AWESOME meeting others with the same common bond.

SFChris and 9erFan (Virginia), it was MY PLEASURE meeting you!!

Here's a couple of pics...

Thanks for sharing the pics DJ.

I may be in your neck of the woods over the Christmas holidays.  If the trip pans out I'd like to meet with you for an hour or so and buy you lunch -- are you game?

Hey DJ-

It was great meeting you yesterday!  I hope you enjoy the rest of the trip here.  Maybe we'll get a break in the rain in the next few days and you can get a little touristy stuff in.  At least you got a good game last night!
Good luck with the DR's on Monday.
And have a safe trip back to Wichita!   ;D

psst. Ann.  we're in our t-shirts out west here.  We were the hot spot in Canada yesterday.  12.5°C.   That's what... 12.5 x 2 + 32 = close to 60°F?

Feels even warmer today.  We have NO snow at all.  Tough to get into the ho-ho-ho stuff without it though.

Hey, sorry I missed you guys.  I started blazing trails to get there, but along the way I got called in to work (no escape route...).

Anyway, Virginia and Chris, let's get together for lunch soon.  If Mt. View works, there's an AWSOME sushi place (Satsuma's) on El Camino.  The chef there (Sho) has a habit of making extra huge portions for me.  I hate when that happens.  ;)

Fubar-

Is Satsuma's the place near where Emporium use to be?
Sounds good to me.

We don't have to do Mtn View, I can come over closer to you guys.

Thanks DJ.

San Francisco always has boring Christmas weather  :D

My friend ruined it for me by moving to Portland. That's no fun. Haven't been in SF since 1977...... :-/

By the way: You thought of making one of those helmets?

You're weird Jonny............... 8)

Virginia,

Yeah, that's the place.  I'm a sushi hound, and I'm telling you, this is the best in the bay area.  Well, I suppose it might be the extra large portions.  I've been going there for 10 years or so, so Sho knows me quite well.

Anytime you want.

Hey Margi!  I heard you guys were living it up out west!!  Doesn't seem fair to me...course you get nailed with a hell of a lot of rain and wasn't it -30 for like 2  weeks before the warm spell?  The ski centers are finally open around here...course I really really don't feel like skiing this year.

And for those of you who happen to live in warm areas...what Echo said!  LMAO  I'll be thinking of you while I'm sailing around Martinique, St. Lucia and the Grenadines at the beginning of the new year! hehehe

hugs
Ann

Now - who wants a free lunch overlooking the Pacific?
Active volcanos to view as you eat; its summer and starting to feel like it; hell, we even havean internationally famous lagoon with rare birds (feathered ones) on our doorstep. Free  rides on the rescued horse. A large mastiff to hug, turtles, good music and friendly humans too!
C'mon! It 's irresistible!

The things we do to meet other CHers!!

Happy PFDAN to you all
