I'm very sorry to hear about Mildred. Anyone who has ever lost a pet knows how difficult this is...thinking about you here in California.

I'm so very sorry about Millie... :'(
Our pets are such a huge part of our lives and give us the most unconditional love we'll ever have.
I know you will miss her....we will too.

St.Thomas Aquinas said, when asked about pets in Heaven...that if we need to see our pets to make it "heaven"...then we will certainly have them there.

Adam's pup was just hit by a car...busted both femurs etc...I tried to talk him into a "new" dog...i told him she would probably never walk or run as good as she did....he looked up from his wheelchair.....and ...welll...$1500 later the mut is healing miraculously well.

....some holes...only love can fill.

So sorry bout your loss....how sad.....I know how ya feel...had to put my old palimino horse down of over 15 years I'd taught tons of tricks to....boy was that tough......he was my bestest freind. Put him down Sept. 11th....yup....that same dreadful day as Twin Towers....that's the day we had set with the vet.....really sad day for lots of reasons.....Pam

She is no longer in pain, and who knows one day, you may take her for a walk again, I believe you will.

Aww man, I thought Mildred was doing better. There is nothing like the bond between a dog and his owner. I can remember every pet I've had.

I know it's hard to hear this now...but it will get better and Mildred's running and chasing rabbits now.

Loved that dog :'(

Don, my deepest condolences to you. Losing Mildred, I'm sure, is devastating, for she never complained, yelled, or voiced her opinion. She remained loyal and loving till the end. Special friends like that you will never forget, and I know she is still loving you from wherever she is.
