I went today to the new england center for headaches
for ch trial.They sign me up for the trial that will start
when i get my next cycle that will be in 3 or 4 months.

It will be interesting to read how this proceeds. I truly hope the beast decides to skip you this time around in his attempt to avoid detection, prevention and cure. And that request is only to save you from the pain.

If he visits, I hope the center is able to use the information you provide to come up with the answers that will benefit all of us.

I was a patient of the New England Center for Headaches for many years. They saved my life and Dr. Rapaport is a great man. The staff there was understanding, helpful and compassionate.

From reading Christine's post it sounds like an excellent facility. I agree with echo in hoping you get skipped.....forever.

Was it simply a sign up or did they give you any information on how the trial will be conducted, meds. they might be using, etc.

Jackie it was very easy to sign up the people there were
great.It was just like DJ said
If qualified, you will enroll into a Screening Period when you are not having headaches.
When the headache cycle begins you will complete headache diaries each day of the study.
A 7-day Treatment Period with nasal spray of either study drug or placebo (an inactive substance). You have twice the chance of receiving active drug than receiving placebo.
Following treatment there will be a 6-week Follow-Up Period.

to be enrolled just give me a fax number and i will be happy to send it to you

I'm hoping you get the "real deal".....a placebo seems like cruel and unusual treatment for a clusterhead. :'(

Good luck in the trial. Hope to hear from you in a few months that they found the cure !!! Thanks for participating in the study, without people like you ... where would we be ????
