Hi...

I'm SoSo Violet, &I'm really new to this game.
I'm an English lass who has been suffering CH for six years now, although I was only diagnosed a year and a half ago.

I turn 32 on the 7th of this month and as an early birthday present to myself, I've got myself 'online' (a major achievement for me as I am a true technophobe!!)
I have visited this site many times before on friends computers and it has made me laugh and cry. Doing them both at once made it difficult to breathe but the whole experience was worth it because I had finally found what I had been searching for for years... Other people who can understand and relate to the pain that I have to live with. I felt so alone until I found you all...

But it's taken me until now to pluck up the courage to try and make contact...

I've tried the 'live chat' a couple of times but there was no-one to talk to, so now I'm sat typing this, hoping that somebody, (ANYBODY!!) will reply so that I can have the best birthday present I could wish for... Allies against the demons!!!

Happy birthday SoSo and welcome aboard! They dont really use the chat here, just post. But I'm sure someone else can direct you to the chat site they use. Have you looked around at all the info in here? Lots of tips on what meds help and what doesnt. Hope you found yourself a good Dr. and he will help you out.

Hello. As you already probably know, this place has tons of info... gotta love it. Most people don't use the chat located on this site, however a group of us often chat at around 10:30pm or 11:00pm EST (USA) at this site:

I know that's probably not a good time for you over there in UK. But if you check in there periodically, you may be able to find some people to chat with at other times during the day.

Welcome to the board! Sorry to hear that you have been struggling with this beast that we all hate so much! But you've come to the right place. The people on this board are wonderful and a wealth of information.

You will get more info about clusters here than you will ever get from a doctor.

Violet - welcome to the board. Hope you use every bit of info available here and on the OUCH wesite (buttons on the left) to fight the beast that we all have in common.
Read, Read, and read some more. You'll know more about this than most doctors. Then you have to educate them!!
