WELL IVE BEEN BATTLING CLUSTER HEADACHES FOR 10 YRS NOW AND THIS BOUT IM CURRENTLY FIGHTING HAS BEEN FOR 3 MONTHS NOW AND THATS EVERYDAY. I LOST MY JOB DUE TO THESE ATTACKS AND I LOST MY INSURANCE SO NOW IM TRYING TO GET SOME ASSISTANCE BUT THE SYSTEM DOESNT WORK FOR ME AND MY HEADFACHES. THE SYSTEM DOESNT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THESE TYPES OF HEADACHES AND THEY KEEP PUTTING OFF GETTING ME THE PRESCRIPTIONS THAT I NEED AND I BROKE DOWN YESTERDAY AND WENT TO EMERGENCY ROOM AT HOSPITAL BUT WAS GIVEN 1 DOSE OF IMITREX AFTER THE HEADACHE WAS FADING AWAY AND IM GETTING TO WHERE I WOULD JUST RATHER END THIS PAIN AND AGINY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY! I WAS WOKE UP TWICE THRU OUT THE NIGHT WITH PAIN AND I DONT KNOW WHERE TO TURN ANYMORE MY POOR WIFE IS EXHAUSTED WITH DEALING WITH ME AND HAVING TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF RAISING KIDS AND GOING TO WORK AND DOING ALL THE WORK THAT I SHOULD BE DOING. THIS CRAP SUCKS AND REALLY TIRED WANTED TO GET IT OFF MY CHEST AND JUST TALK ABOUT WHAT THESE CLUSTERS CAN DO TO A PERSON LIFE.

Sorry to read that the beast has set up camp at your house for such a long time. I can relate to what you are dealing with, and the emotional strain it can put on a individual and a relationship. Sorry that the organization you worked for turned it's back to you. Hopefully the beast will go into hiding in the near future, and allow you time to get you life back on track.

It's not bad enough that we all have to suffer the pain of this damn affliction but those that we work for or hope to get help from afflict us with a whole host more troubles that we don't need.

I hope you are able to find some relief soon. I was searching the archives for a post some time back that was in regards to people having trouble with insurance. If I find I will post it for you. Otherwise if you want search for insurance over the last 90 days or so.

Wildbill, Ending your pain ( I assume you mean your life) won't end your families pain, just makes it worse. Keep on venting. Have your wife logon an check out the supporters section. Have you tried home remedies? Water (on the left ) works for some. I slept propped up to help with nightly CH's, use Ice, hot sauce under your tongue, hot or cold showers, exercise, Charlie's method, and anything you can think of. If you have the energy do as much as you can between attacks. We have all been there and most will be there again so you know you are not alone. PJB

Sorry you are getting hammered right now. The mental toll can be almost as bad as the pain. Good vent....come back as often as needed and let it go. Sometimes that is all we can do. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

YUP...we battle with our insurence co. every month his script needs renew'd.....the doc has to call them and go from there every time. But....now that the shop is gonna swtich insurence co's cuz they 'upped' the premium by thousands I dunno what's gonna happen.....our family becomes 'quite' disfunctional dureing the cycle.....hang in there.....I'm sure there's a break on the way.....

Hang in there. It can seem impossible, but it won't last forever. PF days ahead for you.
