Title: DJ needs our prayers and thoughts! Post by Elaine on Dec 2nd, 2002, 3:19pm DJ is having a hard time right now. He is clustering on the side that he did not have surgery on and plans to go to Stanford next week annual follow-up for his surgery. It looks like he is going to have that side done now. DJ Please don't ban me from the site for telling this! :-) We love ya ! I am sure the people who pray will pray for you and the ones that don't will wish you well and be thinking of you. OUR COMMUNITY WELL OF POSITIVE ENERGY Whatever we might think about someone’s religion or lack thereof, the Catholic Church, (as I was told by a psychic friend, who channeled St. Francis of Assisi) through it’s segregated prayer channels known as “saints”, builds up reservoirs of positive energy available to believers. As an example, take Saint Christopher, Patron Saint of Travelers: When someone starts a trip and prays to St. Christopher for a safe journey, they take a little energy out of the reservoir. No Elaine, I'm not going to delete your profile for "letting the cat out of the bag", however, I AM going to turn you over my knee the next time I see you!!! :P Folks, it's not as bad as E made it seem. I'm not having "full blown" clusters on the left side yet. I am starting to have mild headaches on the left side, much the same way I remember the clusters starting on the right side 18 or so years ago. It's all starting slow but the symptoms are all too familiar and I'm not willing to let it get far enough to loose feeling on the opposite part of my body. I will be pushing for them to do the surgery on the other side of my head before I loose permanent feeling in anything on my right side. When I do have the surgery, I will sweet talk the next ICU nurse into letting me post a message on the board immediately after the surgery just like I did the last ICU nurse! lol Bob P, you know me too fuckin' well! The only person I have ever heard of that started to get mild clusters on the opposite side after surgery did so after eating 24 burritos a day for 2 weeks in preparation for a burrito competition at the Missouri State Fair in 1998. All that flatulence backed up and the dude didn't stand a chance. ;D Sorry to hear of the return of the beast. That has got to be discouraging, thinking you beat it, paying all that money for surgery, only to have it return. I am definately praying for you physically, but I am also praying for you spiritually and emotionally as you deal with all this. |
