Title: Hi everyone, finally made it back Post by catlind on Dec 1st, 2002, 6:04pm Hey all, after some heavy duty cleaning and virus and worm and trojan research, I've finally made it back to the board and shouldn't be a threat to anyone via email :) How is everyone doing? Can I get a CH status from all so I know where things are at? I'm doing ok, the beast came back at Thanksgiving, but has been sporadic and not doing the everyday thing, at least not yet :) Missed everyone :) Cat |

Only had to dig out 2 feet this morning. Not as bad as it could have been...most of the other amounts had melted so there isn't 5 feet on the front lawn! It's gonna be another one of THOSE winters I can see! :) Echo, it's great to be back, how's the head holdin up? (CH wise that is ;) ) Jonny...oh toofless one, glad to be back, how's the choppers doin...or rather lack of ;) Mark C....you were the one who gave me the web addy's for some trojan hunters and stuff...any advice or knowledge of kaspersky? Norton AV never did find the 2 nasties on my machine, one was an irc trojan, the other was a virus, and even though I submitted them to SARC, they still said that they're product should find the infections....so much for that. It's great to be able to get back to posting and not worry about not going on line and reformatting my puter every other day >:( Slammy....where are you? Cat |

Title: Re: Hi everyone, finally made it back Post by catlind on Dec 3rd, 2002, 9:40am Slammy, sorry to hear you haven't been well :( I promise to try to be low maintenance while you aren't feeling good :) ;D Domm, umm oh yeah, my health hehe. Well lets just say I've decided there has to be lemon laws for bodies and not just cars. I want a new one, 105lbs, hourglass figure, tanned, and nothing broken!!! hehe. Seems the meds (Norvasc) is working which they tell me indicates for sure that I have angina. Problem of course is that with hypotension to start with, they are scared to go higher with the dosages, I'm only taking 2.5 mg. So they dont' want to give me anything in high doses with the calcium channel blockers, beta blockers disagreed with me real bad, and they have said absolutely no way to the triptans for the CH's. So I'm stuck for the time being with Celexa as a preventative, the Norvasc which they say will help the CH's, O2 for both conditions, and nothing but pain meds for the CH's if the O2 doesn't cut it. Not exactly ideal in my book, but I won't quit looking just cause that's what one set of docs says. I think I'm going to try to get an appt with the Walter Reed Headache Clinic and hopefully they'll be able to come up with something other than narcotics :) So that sums it up I guess hehe. With the constant temperature changes the beast is usually near but hasn't beat the hell out of me more that 2 or 3 times in the last 2 weeks. (I probably just pissed him off saying that and he'll kick my ass later) Slammy -- Hope you feel better soon. Now quit your whinning, step up to the plate and perform some member maintenance. |

Glad the meds they are giving you are doing the trick for the old ticker..bummer about the CH meds though. Hope you aren't getting hit too often. Up here in the Great white North, it's the same old same old. I'm still feeling like shit...but hoping to be pain free soon. Called my neuro to be hospitalized for DHE.
