Baruch atah Adonai, eloheynu melech ha-olam, a-sher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav, vitzivanu l’hadlik ner shel Chanukah.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the universe, Who has sanctified us through Your commandments and Who commands us to kindle the lights of Chanukah.

Baruch atah Adonai, eloheynu melech ha-olam, sheh-asah nissim l’avo-teynu ba-yamim ha-heym, baz-man ha-zeh.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the universe, Who worked miracles for our ancestors in those days at this very season.

Baruch atah Adonai, eloheynu melech ha-olam, sheh-hechianu v’ki’manu, v’higianu laz-man ha-zeh.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the universe, Who has given us life, sustained us, and brought us to this season.

Happy Holiday Ted

The Festival of Lights means

time to eat………hmmmm

Cornish hens, Matzah onion stuffing, glazed lamb, sweet potato Tzimmis, mandel brot, cheese blintzes, dreidel cookies and peppermint crips.

The last four should be eaten first.

Ditto Ted: Happy holidays.

Bob's right I'm hungry now. This list sounds pretty good too because the Swedes know how to wreck good food better than anyone. :D

Happy Chanukah,

Each night light that menora and know that this symbol continues to illuminate the darkness of oppression and sings a song of freedom, faith, strength and endurance.

Aw, MAN, Teddy - I missed it!!  So sorry.  :(

Happy Hanukah, my friend - I wish for you that the miles ahead of you in the coming season will be smooth and easy to navigate.  And, also that your new endeavours (yes, it has a 'u' in it :P) will be successful and peace will be yours.

Me so proud of you.  :)
