It took a while, but I think I get it  ;D

let's blame it on the country I live in, in the Netherlands I believe things are not as bad as they are in the US?

What absolutely amazes me about the US is your health-system and that you guys have to pay (the biggest part) of your medication yourself, and the prices I am reading on this board are almost giving me a headache on their own!

Murazza,
Most people in the work force do not pay alot for
meds. Ones Insurance usually pays most of it and the
byer pays A co-pay. I pay eight dollars for any med.
I need.

The elderly can not afford there meds. in this country.
Med-A-Care helps them, But often the number of meds.
One has to buy at an elderly age makes it very hard
for them to afford.

I think the high price of the Meds. is the biggest problem
we are facing here in the U.S.  And A high percentage
of Americans have no coverage at all.

They have danced around the Issue for awhile, Hillary
was proposeing some type of program.( Bill Clintons wife ) They shut her down quickly. And as far as I know the issue has not been even spoken of again.

Can I as A question of you ?  I fly into  shippol every 3rd
month and spent the weekend in Amsterdam. Can I take the Train to Rotterdam from shippol and how long
would that take. I have in the past always used the taxi.

Hope you are PF soon, Stay strong in your fights to
control the pain you are curse to suffer. Like you I
think how can the lord let his children suffer like this.

Thank you for your understanding David...

But of course you can take the train! Taxi is far too expensive anyway... The station is right underneath the big central hall of Schiphol, note that you take the intercity to Rotterdam Central, that should take you about half an hour to get there with only one stop underway (if there the train is not retarded, which happens a lot in this country...)

Wish you PFDAN too, take care...

I've flown from Deathrow (london) to Shithole many times, and if you take the taxi into Central Amsterdam, you are throwing money away.  The train is GREAT.  Just ask around when you get there, it's easy to use.

I can't believe you slag of your commander in chief like you do!

You would never catch me calling the German bitch we have in Buckingham Palace like that.

This may offend some Brits ;D

Nah. Americans love London. They're calling Heathrow deathrow.  I'd love to see London.

Is it true that Thames is pronounced Temes because one of those inbred German Georges didn't pronounce the aitch?

George Bush is still an embarrassing, stumbling moron.

I think the US probably has (for the time anyway) the best healthcare system in the world. some of us may pay alot of money (those of us w/ins) for our  premiums but i only pay small copays for drugs and dr. visits and i can go to any doc, any time without problems. i still prefer this over what some other contries have to deal with. it's unfortunate though for others in those situations and for those in the us without insurance. the healthcare  system sure has it's problems everywhere.

In Finland you pay max 600 $ a year on prescription drugs, the government pays the rest.
"Communal" health-care if very cheap (10-20 $?), if somewhat slow. An appointment with a "private" neuro costs 50 $, of which you have to pay some 30+ $.

If you are unemployed you are guaranteed 300 $/month for living after the government has paid your rent and (I think) meds.

So it's not too bad. Paying a lot of taxes has some benefits too.

US health system is the best?  I have a wife and two children to support... Spend about 20% of my income for insurance premiums... Can only go to my GP or whom ever he refers me to... Pay $15 - $25 per doc visit... Pay $20 per script per refill... And may the Gods help me if I ever have to go to the ER.  I have paid more in insurance premiums than I have on local, state, and federal taxes put together.  And every year, the premiums go up.  If I didn't have a job, or if I had a job that didn't offer insurance, I could get medicaid... But because I werk, only my children get medicaid, and that's only if I keep the insurance through my company.  If I drop my family coverage on my company's insurance, they'll drop the medicaid from my kids.  It's rediculous.
