I know prices on most drugs are considerably cheaper in Mexico, and I will be down there in Jan. I was just wondering if anyone has ever bought down Imitrex down there.

Last mth. when I was there, I bought medicines, but didn't know at the time I needed Imitrex.

Our neighbor is a lawyer whose health ins. doesn't have a prescription plan, and I know he buys all his drugs down there...from high blood pressure to his wifes diet pills.

Maybe we can get lucky!

I know someone that has got Trex in Mexico and it is alot cheaper (Dont remember how much) than in the US, all you need is a Doc's script, A US doc's will do the trick.

I know when you go across the border, you'll see alot of dentist offices. These are where you go to get Mexican prescriptions. They'll hand you a laminated sheet of paper with everything from roofies to oxycontin, these are just for the controlled drugs. I know imitrex wasn't on that list.

I just know the price difference was phenomenal...my friends acne med for her daughter in the states was $75, down there it was $10.

If it is cheap and available...anybody for a supply line?

I don't know off hand but I work with guys who are in close contact with people in Mexico if they aren't going there regularly themselves.

Also Canada would be cheaper than the U.S. considdering the exchange rate.

I wonder what the DEA would do about a imitrex smuggling operation LOL!

I will get the price of Imitrex Inj. and Verapamil this weekend and I will post it soon as I get it. The prices that I will get come from a Pharamacy in Tijuana, Mex.

I've just been to Mexico( last week) I asked for the price of Imitrex nasel. Pharmacist said all drug prices have been raised recently. They wanted 20.00 american, for one (1) nasel spray. I told them what they could do with that price. I can get a better price here. Linda Howell

c'mon seester....let's fly to Peru....where the Imitrex(inj) costs about US$35 for the twofer dose and (clean) oxygen does NOT exist.....(bummer!)

damn it's good to see ya postin' again......wish we could go and have some fun in Ventura...... ;D ;D ;D ;D

.........got nuthin to say about the other OTC drugs that are cheap as dirt........ 8)

Up-Date on prices in Mexico.

I have prices from Tijuana, Mex. These prices may be on the high side since it is so close to San Diego and a lot of people are buying their prescription drugs in TJ, but still:

Verapamil, 180 mg. 15 tabs for $19.00

Maxalt, 10 mg. 2 tabs for $23.50

As to the Imitrex Inj, the pharmacy people could not find it in their books - does anyone know if it goes by another name in Mexico? If so, what name?

As far as I know there is no limit as to how much can be bought at one time. This have to be checked again though. It is also my understanding that a photo copy of an American prescription will do just fine - that should also cover bringing it into the U.S.

I think I'll stay in the Netherlands... Just got 12 Imitrex inj. for free!!! And some lithium...

Sorry for your trouble to get some meds, but can't help feeling glad I was born here.
