Has any one else who has never had this condition before taken the flu vaccine this year? I took it for the first time about 4 weeks ago and have been sick for about two. My neuro was saying at my last appt that they have been seeing a sharp rise in cases in the office and that they are saying it is caused by a virus. My husband (SO against my taking the flu vaccine) brings up my taking the flu shot and the Dr didn't even approach it, the topic was shrugged off.

I was just wondering if anyone else may have seen any corrilation too. May be a wild goose chase but who knows right?

I have never had a flu shot in my life. I have never heard of ch being related to a virus but I could be wrong.

I honestly don't think that there is a connection, but Im just trying to find the connection to where these came from. No one else in my family has them and one day it just came knocking on my door. And someone had stated that there were alot of new people. Just trying to make sence of this crazy thing :)

I've had flu shots for the last three years. I don't see a correlation between the shot and CH. For me there has been no change in CH timing subsequent to the shot.

I have had the flu shot every year for seven now...i am chronic but pf on meds now...smiles, nancyc

Melissa - I get a flu shot every year. Got the shot three weeks ago with no noticable effects.
