Title: There is room for us all, but...
Post by paul_b on Nov 19th, 2002, 12:55am
I wish some of you would step back and reread how you present yourself. To acquire pleasure through putting others down is not admirable. Being a watch dog to keep out the snake oil IS admirable. Making an effort to hear what others are saying and responding to see if you are getting it right is helpful. Writing to only win points for your views is close minded. It is never too late to change your image. When I feel understood, that person has influence in my life. To the soldiers manning the gates, thank you for keeping the enemy out with your verbal barrage. I guess that there must be some civilian CH sufferers in your vigor to protect us.

I did just as you suggested Paul.  I stood back and looked at myself.

I've been coming accross as an arrogant, know-it-all, control freak.  Pretty accurate!  On with the show.

Me too Bob.
Arrogant, self righteous, offensive, abusive.

Yup, I'm right on target. I even offend myself.

troll

1. v.,n. [From the Usenet group alt.folklore.urban] To utter a posting on Usenet designed to attract predictable responses or flames; or, the post itself. Derives from the phrase "trolling for newbies" which in turn comes from mainstream "trolling", a style of fishing in which one trails bait through a likely spot hoping for a bite. The well-constructed troll is a post that induces lots of newbies and flamers to make themselves look even more clueless than they already do, while subtly conveying to the more savvy and experienced that it is in fact a deliberate troll. If you don't fall for the joke, you get to be in on it.

I get the distinct feeling that Paul doesn't really approve of us all. Maybe I'm wrong.

Johnny, if you did give a rats butt to someone, how the heck would you do it?  Sounds messy to me.  Personally, I am glad you don't give out rats' butts.    ;D

MUAHAHAHA!!!!  That is way too fuckin funny!   ;D

Acquiring pleasure through being the best Slammy as I can be is probably not admirable either!

But then again, I don't do it to be "admired"   ;D

The soldiers have spoken. Firm in their conviction that they bring humor with spearing remarks. They don't mind jabbing each other and that is okay. Good jabs are a part of friendship, I do it all the time on the golf course. But there are other kind of jabs, designed to wound, and that is meanness, not jest.

for the most part I agree Paul, I even tried to tell em too, but unfortunately there is no hope for some.
So screw it I'm gonna continue to speak my mind and these pinchi pedejo gringos that dont get it can lambe mi deverga.

one thing I've learned (although I tend to forget sometimes) is ya can't teach some people nothin' and others simply aint got no home trainin'.

I personally pride myself sometimes on my cruelty its a great survival tactic, I just prefer to not show my ass in public, its not good for business.

Just looked -- yup still bald.  But, good God I'm handsome.
As far as jab -- I give them out  and I receive them. It's part of being a family.  I'd give my life for family, and my blood family cuts me to the core on a recurrent basis.
Fling shit, get cut, bleed, heal, make nice nice, move on and fling some more.  It's life.

What's life? a magazine.  What's it cost? $4.00.  But I only have $2.00.  That's tough.  What's tough?  Life....

I'll STFU now.  (maybe)
