Title: IS CH, WHAT IS??
Post by David Shea on Nov 18th, 2002, 4:31pm
United States Coast Guard says
Any applicant with  Chronic organic/traumatic brain syndrome does not meet physical standards.

Anyone know any examples of this? Can Ch be put in this class.

Hope not,
David

This might be one circumstance where hearing "Oh Come on, it's just a headache" might be beneficial.

still don't think it applies. You have one nerve (trigeminal) that goes on the fritz once in a while. You don't go into altered states (do you??  ??? ;D ???). You are in pain, nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn't make more of it than that. You can still do your job.
hang tough and PFDANs to you

I'll have know proplem pleading my case. If I had waited
to speak with the Neuro again before getting A little
bit to concern with my employers reaction, Non of these post would have been needed Thanks for your imput

Hey Domm,

Wanted to let you know, I went over these guidelines
with the Neurologist today, Had to be sure.

He agreed with you, and got A chuckle out of the Trigeminal fritz,  He is easy to talk with and
sympathetic of the pain.

Said he would look in on us at the MB tonight.
We had A coffee and I  promised him An  OUCH cup.

Thanks Again
David
