I wanna hear from everyone on this.......and to give me something to distract me.

Out of curiosity............how many of you have the pain on the left, how many on the right, and what hand is your dominant?


I can probably file this one under usless knowledge but I just gotta know. Even if for shits and giggles.

Oops.. sorry I guess I should probably be forthcoming....I am left handed and have the pain on my right.

Also if you are Amidextrous lemme know if you are chronic or episodic.

:) that should keep me busy for a while LOL! ;D

Dave is right handed  CH on left... (ree is right handed M's are on left too I think he gave them to me what'say?) Hope you discover whatever it is you were supposed to discover... but some people have CH that switches... are they ambidexterious????? just a thought me

Hey Good Question,

I'm chronic for 16 years now [Onset at age 20 in 1986]; I suffer pain of the "left" and am "right handed"... but, since child hood I have maintained a certain amount of "AMBIDEXTERITY".

Related Bio: Many years before I suffered CHs; at age 7 [in 1973]; I fell from a garage / carport "overhead storage locker"... roughly "a six foot fall" hitting the back of my head on "reinforced concrete".  Besides the excrutiating pain... I went "snow blind" in my "left eye", (like a TV with "snow" from no reception).  The next morning, I was able to see again... Thank God!!!  

However, periodically... or at least twice a year after the accident, [from age 7-14 years old; 14 being my last "headache with-blind-eye & thick tongue attack"], I would get a "very very bad headache", and start to go "blind in my left eye.  My "left hand and arm-hand and fingers would tingle & feel somewhat swollen-like, plus "my speech became altered" or "my speech became 'really thick' or almost slur-like"; a "thickness in tongue" my school nurse used to say.

Anyone else ever experience anything simillar???  I'd really love to know. Please send me a message here at CH.com, or    lanton_john_c@yahoo.com

Episodic for 18 yrs; chronic for 4 ; Pain Mostly on the left side - but some episodes were on the right ; since chronic - all left side -- Right handed
