I want to thank everyone for their kindness.  The true extent of the damage is just now being discovered. Several people in the manufacturing plant where I work have lost their homes, at least two people I know lost neighbors and one person on my shift has lost a three month old baby. This is a sad situation. The storms missed my house by a few miles but just to the north of me it was real bad.
FEMA was here today and we expect at least one county to be declared a federal emergency. That will free up federal funds for the clean up and rebuilding. These are good folks, its truly amazing to watch the sense of community as friends, neighbors, and strangers all come together to help one another.
So many of the employees here lived in the area that got hit the plant management is matching all funds collected for the relief effort, here in the plant. Way to go PBR! A lot of good is coming from a terrible tragedy.
Maybe people ain't so bad after all...... :)
Thanks again,
Mark
