Title: Possible dumb question
Post by mojoe on Nov 2nd, 2002, 10:16pm
???

Supposedly my late Grandfather cured severe headaches (sounded like ch) with Accupunture some 50 years ago.  Has anyone heard of or tried this route?

thx all

There are some on this board I think may use acupunture. I am not one of them, however a search on Google produced 68,500 hits so someone is.   ;D
Good luck,
Mark

Someone once drove a pencil into my hand... Does that count?  Didn't help with the clusters though...  C'est la vie... ;D

Not a exactly a dumb question, IMHO.

I suppose it MIGHT work, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I'd very much like to talk with someone who had REAL sucess with it, but I don't think I'll find anyone.
(If anyone wishes to prove me wrong, please let me and the rest of us hear about it).

I visited a chiropractor a few times about some mild back problems -- I mentioned I was a cluster sufferer.

He claims he's had sucess helping a few clusterheads --
I tried to be polite and not laugh in his face... ;D

So in short -- if you want to give it a try -- go for it!
Can't hurt -- well, maybe it could with all those needles ;)
But don't expect any miracles from it!

Regards and PFDAN!

Over the years I've tried it 3 different times, the last time being last year for 18 weeks (only because insurance covered it).  No success.  :( :(  Sorry!

No such thing as a dumb question. But a VERY DUMB IDEA!!!!!!!!!!    I tried it several years ago with no help what so-ever and several hundred dollars lighter in the pocket ( i beleive i went to this china man 4 or 5 times). Hoping it would work( my neoro.who was treating me at the time told me it would not help,i was desperate and tried anyways. )Good luck.
